تعبر البرامج الساخرة عن مستوي من الوعي الشعبي، وتمارس توعية للجمهور اجتماعيا وشعبيا. بل وتشارك في مهمة الرقابة على المؤسسات الرسمية التي هي مهمة مؤسسات المجتمع المدني، وتحفز المشاهد للمشاركة وتساعد في رسم صورة ذهنية وتشكيل اتجاهاته حول أشخاص أو قضايا مجتمعية، كما أن هذا التناول الساخر يؤثر في إدراك الواقع الاجتماعي والسياسي والاقتصادي. مشكلة الدراسة: وتتخلص مشكلة الدراسة في التساؤل الرئيسي التالي ما هي علاقة البرامج الساخرة بادراك المراهقين للواقع الاجتماعي؟ أهداف الدراسة: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على العلاقة ببن مشاهدة البرامج الساخرة وإدراك المراهقين للواقع الاجتماعي، والكشف عن دوافع تعرض المراهقين للبرامج الساخرة في الفضائيات، ثم قياس مدى تأثير المتغيرات الديموجرافية (النوع، المستوى الاقتصادي) على مستوي المشاهدة ومن ثم تأثيرها على إدراك المراهقين للواقع الاجتماعي المحيط بهم. نوع الدراسة: وتنتمي هذه الدراسة الى الدراسات الوصفية، واستخدم منهج المسح الاعلامي. العينة: أجريت الدراسة على مجموعة اختيرت عشوائيا قوامها 400 طالب وطالبة، الفئة العمرية (15-17) سنة. أدوات الدراسة: استخدمت فذ ذلك استمارة الاستبيان، ومقياس الواقع الاجتماعي الاجتماعي كأدوات لجمع بيانات الدراسة. النتائج: توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين كثافة مشاهدة المراهقين للبرامج الساخرة التي تعرض بالقنوات الفضائية ومستوى إدراك الواقع الاجتماعي، كما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات الذكور ومتوسطات درجات الإناث على مقياس إدراك الواقع الاجتماعي لديهم لصالح الإناث، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين متوسطات درجات المبحوثين على مقياس التعرض للبرامج الساخرة تبعا لاختلاف كثافة مشاهدة القنوات الفضائية، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات المبحوثين على مقياس كثافة التعرض للبرامج الساخرة تبعا لاختلاف المستوي الاقتصادي الاجتماعي.
