Listening anxiety has a salient and negative impact in foreign language students’ performance. This paper aims to explore the sources of listening anxiety among Libyan students at UTM. The data of this qualitative study gathered via semi-structured interviews and reflective journals. The interview and the reflective journals' data were analyzed by applying a coding technique in order to determine the main elements of this issue. The findings indicated that Libyan students suffered from seven sources of listening anxiety associated to the input, listener, task and the classroom environment. |
