المستخلص: This paper studies the balanced distribution of the institutions of higher education for girls in the Riyadh Region as a means of regional development and the reduction of the phenomenon of migration to the capital for the absence of such institutions outside the city of Riyadh. The research shows the bases of the distribution of services in urban planning and regional development and the considerations affecting the choice of location that is best suited for the services of higher education for girls in the Riyadh Region. The distribution of higher education services in the provinces of Riyadh affected the material and social costs and has had a positive impact in bringing about a balanced regional sustainable development.
