المستخلص: في عصر المعلومات ومع ظهور شبكة الإنترنت ظهرت شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي التي أصبحت من المواقع المهمة والفعالة. هدفت الدراسة إلى التعريف بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة، والتعريف بشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي ودورها في ترقية أداء اختصاصي المعلومات والمكتبات، والتعرف على كيفية تأهيل وإعداد اختصاصي المعلومات والمكتبات في عصر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، والوصول لنتائج تكسب العاملين المهارات اللازمة للتعامل الجيد في عصر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي بشقيه (المسح ودراسة الحالة)، وتم استخدام برنامج الحزم الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) لتحليل البيانات، استخدمت الدراسة الاستبانة والملاحظة المباشرة لجمع المعلومات. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع العاملين بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة، وتم اختيار العاملين الحاصلين مؤهل جامعي وفوق الجامعي بلغ عددهم (50) مستفيد. توصلت الدراسة إلي عدد من النتائج أهمها: العاملين بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة يجيدون استخدام مقومات تقنية المعلومات وذلك يؤهلهم إلى استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي بصورة جيدة، العاملين يجيدون استخدام الإنترنت وهي الوسيلة التي يتم من خلالها استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي والاستفادة من خدماتها، وتوظيفها في توفير مصادر المعلومات وتقديم خدمات المعلومات للمستفيدين، مكتبات جامعة الجزيرة توفر الخدمات الإلكترونية للمستفيدين، عمادة المكتبات بجامعة الجزيرة وفي إطار جهودها المبذولة لتأهيل اختصاصي المعلومات والمكتبات تنظم للعاملين دورات تدريبية في مجال تقنية المعلومات والإنترنت بغرض رفع مستوي قدراتهم، ولا تنظم دورات تدريبية في مجال استخدام شكات التواصل الاجتماعي، العاملين قادرين على ابتكار واستحداث طرق جديدة للبحث عن المعلومات، أظهرت النتائج القدرات العالية للعاملين في الحصول على المعلومات من شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي على الرغم من عدم وجود التدريب في هذا المجال، العاملين يقدمون خدمات المعلومات للمستفيدين عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي ولكن بنسب متوسطة، وهم على قناعة بأن شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي تساعد في تنمية قدراتهم بشكل كبير، العاملين يؤكدون أن شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي تدعم برامج التعليم الإلكتروني وذلك لأنها تمكنهم من التعامل مع مستفيدين موجودين خارج المكتبة وهي بذلك تخلق روابط بين العاملين والمستفيدين لتقديم خدمات المعلومات، بالإضافة إلى أن التعليم الإلكتروني في أغلب صوره يكون عن بعد. بناء على ما توصلت إليه الدراسة من نتائج توصي بتكثيف برامج التأهيل في مجال الإنترنت واستخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة بغرض إعداد نموذج لاختصاصي المعلومات والمكتبات قادر على العمل بكفاءة عالية، على عمادة المكتبات بجامعة الجزيرة مضاعفة الجهود المبذولة في تأهيل اختصاصي المعلومات والمكتبات من خلال تبني أحدث البرامج التدريبية، تنمية مهارات العاملين بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة وذلك برفع قدراتهم من خلال تطوير برامج التأهيل المهني للمكتبيين لتستوعب موضوعات جديدة ذات صلة وثيقة بشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، على العاملين بمكتبات جامعة الجزيرة مضاعفة الجهود الفردية في تنمية المهارات التي تمكن من تقديم الخدمات عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، الاستفادة من إمكانات شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في الوصول إلي المعلومات وتبادلها وبتها من خلال تفعيل استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ضمن عمل المكتبة اليومي.

In the information age, with the advent of the Internet, social networks have emerged as important and effective sites. The study aims to introduce the libraries of Gezira University and the social networking networks and their role in promoting the performance of information specialists and libraries, and to know how to qualify and prepare information specialists and libraries in the era of social networks to reach the results that earn the workers the skills necessary to deal well in the era of social networks. The study followed the descriptive approach (both survey and case study). The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. The study used the questionnaire and direct observation to gather information. The study population is composed of all employees of the university libraries. The number of employees with graduate and post-graduate qualifications reached (50) beneficiaries. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: the employees of the libraries of the University of Gezira are proficient in the use of information technology components and the Internet, which enable them to use social networks which can provide information services to beneficiaries in a good way. Gezira University Libraries provide electronic services to beneficiaries, the Deanship of Libraries in the University of Gezira In the framework of its efforts to qualify information specialists and libraries, the organization organizes training courses in the field of information technology and the Internet in order to raise the level of their abilities, and does not organize training courses in the use of social networks, employees are able to innovate and develop new ways to search for information, The results showed the high capacity of workers to obtain information from the social networks, although there is no training in this area, the employees provide information services to beneficiaries through social networks, but in medium proportions, and they are convinced that the social networks help to develop their capabilities significantly, employees emphasize that social networks support e-learning programs because they enable them to deal with existing beneficiaries outside the library and thus create links between employees and beneficiaries to provide information services which mostly are distance learning, based on the results of the study recommends the intensification of the rehabilitation programs in the Internet and the use of social networks in the libraries of the University of the island in order to prepare a model for the specialists of information and libraries capable of working efficiently, and the Deanship of Libraries at the University of the island to redouble efforts in the rehabilitation of information specialists and libraries from Through the latest training programs and the development of the skills of library staff to raise their abilities through the development of vocational rehabilitation programs related topics. The staff of the University's libraries should redouble individual efforts in developing the skills that enable the provision of services through the social networks, taking advantage of the potential of the social networks to access and exchange information through activating the use of social networking sites within the library's daily work.
