هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن واقع ومعوقات الحرية الأكاديمية في الجامعات الأردنية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس فيها وعلاقة ذلك ببعض المتغيرات (الجنس والرتبة الأكاديمية)، وقد تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس في كليات التربية بجامعة البلقاء التطبيقية والجامعة الأردنية، في حين تكونت عينة الدراسة من (85) عضو هيئة تدريس من التخصصات التربوية، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، وقد تم تطوير استبانة مكونة من 28 فقرة، واستخدمت الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة لتحليل المعلومات. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن واقع الحرية الأكاديمية في الجامعات الأردنية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس حظي بدرجة متوسطة الوجود، في حين أن معوقات الحرية الأكاديمية في الجامعات الأردنية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس حظيت بدرجة مرتفعة. كما وأظهرت كذلك عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (a 0.05)، في واقع ومعوقات الحرية الأكاديمية في الجامعات الأردنية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس فيها تعزى إلى متغيرات الجنس والرتبة الأكاديمية، وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات التي يؤمل أن تفيد واضعي سياسة التعليم العالي في الأردن وتطويرها بما يتناسب مع التطورات العالمية، ومن أجل تجويد ورفع كفاءة التعليم العالي في الأردن وعلى كافة مستوياته، منها إجراء المزيد من الدراسات التحليلية لتعليمات وأنظمة الجامعات وما تحويه من مواد خاصة بالحرية الأكاديمية، أو من مواد تحول دون كمال الحرية الأكاديمية وتقف عائقا وسدا في إيجادها، والمطالبة بزيادة استقلال الجامعات إداريا، وماليا والذي يتيح لها حرية الحركة في تسيير أمورها، وسرعة اتخاذ القرارات المناسبة في الوقت المناسب دون تدخلات خارجية، وإنشاء اتحادات ونقابات في كل جامعة، أو للجامعات ككل تتمثل مهمتها في حماية الحرية الأكاديمية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات الأردنية.
The study aimed at revealing the reality and constraints off universities from the perspective of its faculty and its relationship with some variables (sex, academic rank), The study population consisted of all faculty members in the colleges of education at the University of Balqa Applied University of Jordan, while formed The study sample (85) member of the faculty of education specialties, were chosen randomly Mini, has been the development of a questionnaire composed of paragraph 28, and used appropriate statistical methods to analyze the information. The study results showed that the reality of academic freedom in Jordanian universities from the perspective of faculty members was moderately presence, while the obstacles to academic freedom in the Jordanian universities from the perspective of faculty members enjoyed a high degree. It also showed the lack of a statistically significant difference at the level of(a0.05)in reality and constraints of academic freedom in Jordanian universities from the perspective of faculty members which are attributable to the variables of gender, academic rank, and in the light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations which will hopefully benefit policy makers of higher education in Jordan and develop in line with global developments, and in order to improve an Increase efficiency of higher education in Jordan and at all levels, including further analytical studies to the instructions and regulations of the universities and the content of the material, especially academic freedom, or of materials to prevent Kamal academic freedom and stand and be found in a dam, and the demand to increase the independence of universities administratively, and financially, which allows them freedom of movement in the conduct of its affairs, and the speed to take appropriate decisions in a timely manner without outside interference. And the establishment of associations and unions in each university, as a whole or for universities.
