هدفت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على واقع أداء أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة شقراء لمهامهم الأكاديمية (في مجالات التدريس، والبحث العلمي، وخدمة المجتمع) وذلك في ضوء متطلبات الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي من وجهة نظرهم، والكشف عن الفروق في وجهات نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة شقراء حول أدائهم لمهامهم الأكاديمية في ضوء متطلبات الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي باختلاف المتغيرات التالية: الرتبة الأكاديمية، الجنس، التخصص، ثم تحديد الصعوبات التي يمكن أن تحد من قيام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بمهامهم الأكاديمية في ضوء متطلبات الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي. وقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي حيث تم توزيع الاستبانة على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة شقراء. ومن أبرز النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أن أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة شقراء يقومون بمهامهم الأكاديمية في ضوء متطلبات الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي بدرجة متوسطة، حيث جاء أداؤهم لمهامهم التدريسية في المرتبة الأولى بدرجة مرتفعة، يليه البحث العلمي بدرجة متوسطة، ثم خدمة المجتمع بدرجة متوسطة أيضا. ولا توجد فروق في وجهات نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس حول أدائهم لمهامهم الأكاديمية في ضوء متطلبات الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي باختلاف متغيرات الدراسة: الرتبة الأكاديمية، والجنس، والتخصص. أما بالنسبة للصعوبات التي تحد من قيام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بمهامهم الأكاديمية في ضوء متطلبات الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي فقد حصلت على موافقة أفراد الدراسة، حيث جاءت الصعوبات الفنية والمادية أولا ثم الصعوبات البشرية.
This study aimed to examine the reality of faculty member performance at Shaqra University for their academic duties (in the fields of teaching, scientific research, and community service) in the light of the quality and academic accreditation requirements from their viewpoint, as well as disclosure the faculty member' viewpoints differences at Shaqra University towards their performance of their duties in the light of quality and academic accreditation requirements according to the following variables: academic rank, gender, and specializations, then identifying the difficulties that can limit the performance of the faculty member for their duties in the light of the quality and academic accreditation requirements. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method through the distribution of the questionnaire on the study sample represented in the faculty member at Shaqra University. The most important results of the study are that the faculty member at Shaqra University high level of performance for their academic duties in the light of quality and academic accreditation requirements, where their performance for their teaching duties came in the* first rank with highly degree (followed by the scientific research, then the community service with a medium degree. There were no differences among the faculty member viewpoints towards their performance of their academic duties in the light of the quality and academic accreditation requirements back to the different study variables: academic rank, gender, and specialization. While for the difficulties that limit faculty member performance of their academic duties in the light of the quality and academic accreditation requirements has obtained the approval of the study sample, where the technical and financial difficulties came first, then the human difficulties.
