المستخلص: نرمي من خلال هذا المقال إلى تبيان مفهوم الفقدان في الترجمة ساعين للكشف عن مصدره وتجلياته في النص الأدبي، فالفقدان لصيق بالترجمة الأدبية ولا مناص منه إما لقلة كفاءة المترجم وإمّا للأسلوب المعتمد في الترجمة وإما لخصوصية النحص المترجم، والنص الأدبي نثرا كان أم شعرا نص صعب ومعقد يقيناً ولكن ترجمته ليست بالأمر المستحيل وإن كان جزء منه يفقد، وإن مهارة المترجم كفيلة بالإبقاء قدر الإمكان على دلالات النص وفي حالة الفقدان الذي لابد منه وجب على المترجم إيجاد سبيل للاسترجاع حتى وإن كان ذلك بتدوين ملاحظاته عل الهامش أسفل الصفحة.

Cet article vise à mettre en évidence la notion de « la perte» tout en essayant de démontrer d’où elle parvient et comment s’apparait-elle dans la traduction littéraire. En effet, La perte est due à plusieurs raisons liées à la compétence du traducteur, à la méthode employée en traduction et à la spécificité du texte à traduire .Certes, un texte littéraire -qu’il soit poésie ou prose- est un texte compliqué, difficile mais pas impossible à traduire sauf qu’une partie de ses contenus se perd .Seule la compétence du traducteur est apte à préserver les significations du texte. Et en cas de perte inévitable il doit trouver un moyen de récupération ne serait-ce-que insérer sa note en bas de page.

Through this article, we aim to explain the concept of loss in translation, seeking to reveal its source and its manifestations in the literary text. The loss is consistent with literary translation and is inevitable either because of the lack of competence of the translator, the method adopted in translation or the specificity of the translated examination. The literary text is prose or poetry, a difficult and complex text for sure, but translating it is not impossible even though part of it is lost. The translator's skill is sufficient to keep the semantics of the text as much as possible. In the event of a loss that is necessary, the translator must find a way to retrieve, even if this is by taking his notes on the margin at the bottom of the page.
