هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلي بيان عادات العقل المنتجة وعلاقتها باتخاذ القرار لدي أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة أسيوط، ومعرفة ما إذا كانت عادات العقل المنتجة تختلف تبعا لمتغيرات التخصص العملي والتخصص النظري، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (340) عضو هيئة تدريس بثلاث كليات نظرية (التربية، والآداب، والخدمة الاجتماعية) وثلاث كليات عملية (كلية العلوم، والزراعة، وحاسبات ومعلومات)، تم اختيارها عشوائيا، وتم إعداد أداة للدراسة، وكانت عبارة عن استبانة عادات العقل المنتجة وعلاقتها باتخاذ القرار، وزعت إلي ستة عشر بعدا هي (المثابرة، والتحكم في الاندفاع، والإصغاء بفهم وتعاطف، والتفكير بمرونة، والتفكير في التفكير، والاجتهاد من أجل الدقة، والتساؤل وفرض المشكلات، وتطبيق الخبرة السابقة في مواقف جديدة، والتفكير والتواصل بوضوح ودقة، وجمع البيانات باستخدام كل الحواس، والإبداع-التخيل-التجديد، والاستجابة بدهشة ورهبة، والإقدام علي مخاطر مسئولة، وإيجاد جو من المرح (التفكير بمرح)، والتفكير التبادلي، والاستعداد الدائم للتعلم المستمر)، ولقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة إلي أن مستوي امتلاك أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة أسيوط لعادات العقل المنتجة وعلاقتها باتخاذ القرار جاء مرتفعا في كل المهارات ماعدا مهارتي التحكم بالاندفاع والاستجابة بدهشة ورهبة فقد جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، وقد تم وضع توصيات لتنمية عادات العقل لدي أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة أسيوط، حتي يتمكنوا من اتخاذ قراراتهم بشكل صحيح.
The current study aims at identifying the habits of the mind and its relation to decision making among the staff members of Assiut University, and to know whether the habits of the mind differ according to the variables of practical specialization and theoretical specialization. The study sample consisted of (340) staff member at three theoretical faculties (Education, Arts and Social work) and three practical faculties (Science, Agriculture, Computers and Information). The study sample was selected randomly. The questionnaire was used as a tool for study, it included sentences related to the habits of the mind and its relation to decision-making. This questionnaire was distributed into sixteen axes:(perseverance, control of the rush, listening in understood and empathetic way, thinking in a flexible way, thinking of thinking, diligence for accuracy, questioning and problem-setting, applying past experience in new situations, thinking and communicating clearly and accurately, collecting data using all senses, creativity-imagining-renewing , responding with surprise and dread, taking responsible risks, creating a sense of humor, interchangeable thinking, permanent readiness for continuous learning). The results of the study showed that the level of possessing of the habits of reason and its relation to decision making for staff members at Assiut University was high at all skills except the two skills of control of the rush and responding with surprise and dread which came at Medium degree. A suggested proposal was set to increase the habits of mind skills for staff members at the Assiut University, so that they can make their decisions properly.
