اهتمت الدراسات النقدية والأدبية الحديثة بظاهرة "الانزياح" باعتباره قضية أساسية في تشكيل جماليات النصوص الأدبية، وبوصفه -أيضا – حدثا لغويا في تشكيل الكلام وصياغته، والانزياح هو خروج الكلام عن نسقه المثالي المألوف، أو هو خروج عن المعيار لغرض قصد إليه المتكلم، أو جاء عفو الخاطر؛ لكنه يخدم النص بصورة أو بأخرى وبدرجات متفاوتة. وبداية لابد من الإشارة إلى أن الانزياح أو ما يسميه بعض النقاد والباحثين بالعدول أو الانحراف يعد أهم ما قامت عليه الأسلوبية من أركان، حتى لقد عده نفر من أهل الاختصاص كل شيء فيها، وعرفوها فيما عرفوها بأنها: "علم الانزياحات". يجيب هذا البحث عن سؤال: هل عرف تراثنا العربي هذه الظاهرة؟، نظر النحاة واللغويون إلى اللغة وأقاموا مباحثهم على رعاية الأداء المثالي، أما البلاغيون فقد ساروا في اتجاه آخر؛ حيث أقاموا مباحثهم على أساس انتهاك هذه المثالية والعدول عنها في الأداء الفني، وقد دارت مباحث علم المعاني في كثير من جوانبها حول العدول عن النمط المألوف. كما تناول هذا البحث درس "الالتفات" أنموذجا تطبيقيا للانزياح في التراث النقدي والبلاغي عبر المنهج التاريخي الوصفي. تناول البحث الانزياح عند المحدثين وعند القدامى، وتوصل البحث إلى عدد من النتائج: لقد عرف القدامى مفهوم الانزياح ولكن بمسميات أخري كالعدول والتحويل والنقل وغيرها ولكن لم يعرفوه بهذا المصطلح، وحتى الالتفات لم يرد لديهم بهذا اللفظ؛ ولكن بمسميات أخرى.
The new criticising and literature studies was interested in the phenomenon of (Displacement) (Al-enziyah), by considering it a main reason in assembling aesthetics of the literary texts, describing it also a linguistic event in the assembling of speech and its formulation. The definition of the Displacement phenomenon is the speech going out of its usual perfect order, or going out of scale for an intention the speaker has intended, or came out unintended, one way or another it supports the text and with different levels. As of the beginning attention must be paid about that the Displacement or what's been named by some criticisers and researchers the renouncement or the deviation, Is considered as the most important base the method parts were built on, it was even considered by some of specialty people as it means everything in it, they refer to it as (the science of the Displacement). This research answers an important question: Did our arabic heritage know about this phenomenon? The grammar experts and the lingual experts looked at the language and started basing their researches on sponsoring the perfect performance, but the rhetoricals went on another direction; which they started their researches based on violating this idealism and renouncing from it in the artistic performance. Many parts of the researches from the meanings science have been about renouncing from the usual pattern. This research also considered the study of attitudes (a practical example for displacement in the rhetoric and criticizing heritage through the historical descriptional method)
