المستخلص: The research aims to identify the level of self-efficacy and the level of ambition among students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus. And measuring the relationship between self-efficacy and the level of ambition. And measuring the level of significance of differences in the answers to the research sample of self-efficacy scale and the scale of ambition according to the variables of research: (sex, school year). And relied on the descriptive and analytical approach, research sample consisted of 598 students from the students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus, was the application of the ambitious scale, a measure of self-efficacy, and the study found the following results: 1. The self-efficacy among students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus, the level was elevated degree, reaching the arithmetic average of the response of the research sample (3.11). 2. The ambition among students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus level was moderately, reaching the arithmetic average of the response of the research sample (2.97). 3. The existence of a positive correlation statistically significant between self efficacy and the level of ambition in the research sample of students from the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus, members of the relationship. 4. There were no statistically significant differences between the average scores research sample of self-efficacy scale and ambition according to the sex variable scale. 5. There are statistically significant between the average score differences members of the research sample of self-efficacy scale and the scale of ambition of the school year in accordance with the variable for the fourth year students.

هدف البحث إلى تعرف مستوى فاعلية الذات ومستوى الطموح لدى طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة دمشق. وقياس العلاقة بين فاعلية الذات ومستوى الطموح. وقياس مستوى دلالة الفروق في إجابات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس فاعلية الذات ومقياس الطموح وفق متغيري البحث: (الجنس، السنة الدراسية). واعتمد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتكونت عينة البحث من (٥٩٨) طالب وطالبة من طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة دمشق، وتم تطبيق مقياس الطموح، ومقياس فاعلية الذات، وخلصت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية: 1. إن مستوى فاعلية الذات لدى طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة دمشق كان بدرجة مرتفعة، إذ بلغ المتوسط الحسابي لاستجابة أفراد عينة البحث (٣.١١). 2. إن مستوى الطموح لدى طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة دمشق كان بدرجة متوسطة، إذ بلغ المتوسط الحسابي لاستجابة أفراد عينة البحث (٢٩٧). 3. وجود علاقة ارتباطية ايجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين فاعلية الذات ومستوى الطموح لدى أفراد عينة البحث من طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة دمشق. 4. عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس فاعلية الذات ومقياس الطموح وفق متغير الجنس. 5. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس فاعلية الذات ومقياس الطموح وفق متغير السنة الدراسية لصالح طلبة السنة الرابعة.
