عملت الجزائر ومنذ استقلالها في 1962 على مسار تشييد دولة تتمتع بالسيادة والاستقلالية في قراراتها الداخلية والخارجية، وبناء عليه تبنت مجموعة من المبادئ التي مازالت ثابتة وراسخة، ربما إلى درجة يتم وصفها من قبل الفواعل الدولية بأنها "الدولة الأكثر التزاما بمبادئها الراسخة". صحيح أن تأثير الأهمية الجيواستراتيجية للجزائر وموقعها، إلى جانب الثقل التاريخي والهوياتي الذي تمتلكه واضح بشكل مباشر / غير مباشر على جملة التوجهات والإدراكات التي انتهجتها خاصة بعد استقلالها. ولعل أهم تلك المبادئ التي شددت عليها الدساتير الجزائرية المتتالية مبدأ عدم التدخل في الشؤون الداخلية للدول، إلى جانب حق الدول في تقرير مصيرها، كما تشدد على أهمية الاعتماد على المقاربات السلمية والسياسية في سبيل حل الأزمات والنزاعات سواء داخل القارة الإفريقية أو غيرها. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن المقاربة الجزائرية للأزمة الليبية تملك من الأوراق الرابحة الشيء الكثير، وعلى رأسها أن موقفها من بداية الأزمة منحها مساحة متقاربة من جميع الأطراف المتصارعة في ليبيا، كما أن موقفها القاضي بدعم الحل السياسي بدأ يلقى الدعم والمساندة من أعلى الهيئات الدولية، وعلى رأسها منظمة "الأمم المتحدة".
Algeria has worked since its independence in 1962 on the path to the construction of a sovereign independent state in its internal and foreign affairs. And in order to achieve that goal, it adopted a set of constant and well established principles, perhaps to the degree that it is described for being the most committed country to its well-established principles. It is true that the impact of the geostrategic importance of Algeria and its site, in addition to the historic weight directly affects and indirectly on the all the trends which were pursued especially after its independence. And perhaps the most important of those principles stressed by the Algerian successive constitutions is the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of States the right of States to self-determination. In addition, Algeria stresses the importance of reliance on the peaceful political approaches toward the resolution of crises and conflicts both within the African continent or others. The study concluded that the Algerian approach to the Libyan crisis has a lot of trump cards especially that its position at the beginning of the crisis gave it a close space from all the conflicting parties in Libya. And its position to support the political solution has begun to receive support and support from the highest international bodies, especially the United Nations.
