المستخلص: Title: Creating the spirit of critical thinking in the university student.
This research paper aims to address the negative aspects and raise the levels of students to achieve success.
The paper begins with the definition of critical thinking as defined in the definitions of McPeak 1981 and the definitions of Badal (1989). The research also deals with the basic elements and skills related to critical thinking, as well as the procedural aspect and its role in developing different abilities. The research also deals with the anatomical aspect of the mind, its habits, and its role in creating the spirit of desire for research and observation, the use of logical evidence to solve the problem, the development of cognitive understanding, logical thinking and raising the degree of intelligence. This is what Edward Gloss addresses in explaining the elements of critical thinking, and John Dewey in explaining the importance of critical analysis as well as curriculum development and academic evaluation.
The research paper also discusses the strategies that can be followed, the role of the teacher and what he should receive from the study in the aspects of application, design and research.

تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى معالجة الجوانب السلبية ورفع مستويات الطلاب لتحقيق النجاح المنشود.
تبدأ الورقة بتعريف ماهية التفكير الناقد كما جاء في تعريفات (مك بيك 1981) وتعريفات بادل (1989) كما يتناول البحث العناصر الأساسية والمهارات المتعلقة بالتفكير الناقد، وأيضاً الجانب الإجرائي ودوره في تطوير القدرات المختلفة. أيضاً يتناول البحث الجانب التشريحي للعقل وعاداته ودوره في خلق روح الرغبة في البحث والملاحظة واستخدام الأدلة المنطقية لحل المشكل وتطوير الفهم المعرفي والتفكير المنطقي ورفع درجة الذكاء. وهذا ما يتناوله إدورد قلوس في شرح عناصر التفكير الناقد، وأيضا جون ديوي في توضيح أهمية التحليل الناقد بجانب تطوير المناهج والتقويم الدراسي.
كما تتناول الورقة البحثية الاستراتيجيات التي يمكن اتباعها ودور المعلم وما يفترض أن يتلقاه من دراسة في جانب التطبيق والتصميم والبحث.
