المستخلص: The aim of the research is to study the difficulties of learning Arabic for non-native speakers from the point of view of its students in Damascus governorate. And study the differences between the average scores of the responses of the members of the research sample to identify the difficulties of learning the Arabic language according to the variables: (sex, nationality, period of time the student in Syria). The research sample consisted of (58) students from the Institute for the Teaching of Arabic Language for Non- Speakers in Damascus Governorate. The researcher used the questionnaire to identify the difficulties of learning Arabic for nonnative speakers. It includes (50), The research was based on an analytical descriptive approach. The research concluded the following results: 1. The level of difficulties in learning Arabic for non-native speakers according to the estimation of the members of the research sample was high with a mean score of 3.89. 2. There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the responses of the individuals in the research sample to identify the difficulties of learning Arabic according to the variables of the research: (sex, nationality). 3. There were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the responses of the sample members on the identification of the difficulties of learning the Arabic language according to the variable period of time spent in Syria for the students who were living in Syria (3 months to 6 months).

هدف البحث إلى صعوبات تعلم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها من وجهة نظر دارسيها في محافظة دمشق. ودراسة الفروق بين متوسط درجات إجابات أفراد عينة البحث على استبانة صعوبات تعلم اللغة العربية تبعا لمتغيرات: (الجنس، الجنسية، الفترة الزمنية التي الدارس الطالب في سورية). وتكونت عينة البحث من (58) دارسا من الدارسين في معهد تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها في محافظة دمشق. واستخدمت الباحثة استبانة صعوبات تعلم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها، وتضم (50) بندا، واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وخلص البحث إلى النتائج الآتية: 1- إن مستوى صعوبات تعلم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها وفق تقدير أفراد عينة البحث من الدارسين كان مرتفعة بمتوسط حسابي رتبي بلغ (3.89). 2- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات إجابات أفراد عينة البحث على استبانة صعوبات تعلم اللغة العربية تبعا لمتغيري البحث: (الجنس، الجنسية). 3- وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات إجابات أفراد عينة البحث على استبانة صعوبات تعلم اللغة العربية تبعا لمتغير الفترة الزمنية التي قضاها الدارس في سورية لصالح الطلبة الذين كانت فترة إقامتهم في سورية (من 3 أشهر إلى 6 أشهر).
