المستخلص: The study aimed to identify the relationship between identity styles And mental health in a sample of secondary secondary students in Homs. It also aimed to detect the differences between the average of their grades on the scale of identity styles and the mental health measure according to the gender variable (male and female) and the specialization (scientific-literary) The sample of the study consisted of (245) students of secondary secondary school in the city of Homs. The study found the following results: 1- There is a significant correlation between the scores of the study sample members on the dimensions of the scale of the identity styles and their degrees on the dimensions of the mental health scale. 2- There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample of the study on the scale of the identity styles according to the gender variable (male–female). 3- There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample of the study on the scale of the identity styles according to the variable of specialization (scientific-literary). 4- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample of the study on the dimensions of the mental health scale (self-knowledge and acceptance, self-confidence and ability to accept, purpose and meaning of life according to the gender variable (male-female). 5- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample of the study on the dimensions of the mental health scale (self-knowledge and acceptance, courage in the face of problems) depending on the variable of specialization (scientific-literary) for the benefit of science.

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين أساليب الهوية والصحة النفسية لدى عينة من طلاب الصف الثاني الثانوي في مدينة حمص، كما هدفت إلى كشف الفروق بين متوسط درجاتهم على مقياس أساليب الهوية ومقياس الصحة النفسية تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور-إناث)، والتخصص الدراسي (علمي-أدبي)، حيث تم استخدام مقياس أساليب الهوية لبيرزونسكي، ومقياس الصحة النفسية وذلك بعد التأكد من صدقهما وثباتهما، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (245) طالبا وطالبة من طلاب الصف الثاني الثانوي في مدينة حمص. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: 1- توجد علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة على أبعاد مقياس أساليب الهوية ودرجاتهم على أبعاد مقياس الصحة النفسية. 2- لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس أساليب الهوية تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور-إناث) 3- لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس أساليب الهوية تبعا لمتغير التخصص (علمي-أدبي). 4- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة على أبعاد مقياس الصحة النفسية (معرفة الذات وتقبلها، الثقة بالذات والقدرة على تقبلها، الهدف والمعنى من الحياة) تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور-إناث) لصالح الذكور. 5- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة على أبعاد مقياس الصحة النفسية (معرفة الذات وتقبلها، الشجاعة في مواجهة المشكلات) تبعا لمتغير التخصص (علمي-أدبي) لصالح العلمي.
