المستخلص: The research aims to know relationship between personal and social adjustment and the Emotional regulation strategies. And know differences in the personal and social adjustment and the Emotional regulation strategies according to the variable sex. the research sample consisted of (373) students in the first grade of secondary, and the researcher applying scale of personal and social adjustment, and the scale of Emotional regulation strategies, and the study found the following results : 1- The existence of the high estimate of the degree of personal and social adjustment and the Emotional regulation strategies among (research sample). 2- There is correlation between personal and social adjustment and the Emotional regulation strategies 3- There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample individuals on personal and social adjustment scale variable according to sex. and in favor of males. 4- There were no statistically significant differences between the scores of the sample on the scale of Emotional regulation strategies individuals differences according to sex variable.

هدف البحث إلى تعرف العلاقة بين التوافق النفسي واستراتيجيات التنظيم الانفعالي. وتعرف الفروق في التوافق النفسي واستراتيجيات التنظيم الانفعالي وفقا لمتغير الجنس. اعتمد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتكونت عينة البحث من (373) طالبا وطالبة في الصف الأول الثانوي، واستخدم مقياس التوافق النفسي ومقياس استراتيجيات التنظيم الانفعالي، وخلصت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية: وجود تقدير مرتفع لدرجة التوافق النفسي واستراتيجيات التنظيم الانفعالي لدى أفراد عينة البحث. وجود علاقة ارتباط بين التوافق النفسي واستراتيجيات التنظيم الانفعالي لدى طلبة الصف الأول الثانوي. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس التوافق النفسي ولمصلحة الذكور. وعدم وجود فروق على مقياس استراتيجيات التنظيم الانفعالي وفق متغير الجنس.
