المستخلص: The purpose of this research is to know the psychometric properties of Survey of Attitudes towards Statistics which refers to (SATS-36), and the scale consists of (36) items that measure the Students' towards the course of statistics. To achieve this goal, the scale is applied to a sample of (253) male and female students of postgraduate studies in Faculty of Education at University of Damascus. And the several methods is used to study the reliability and validity of this scale. Results of the study showed suitable reliability coefficients for scale, Where retest reliability ranged between (0.89 - 0.94), and the reliability coefficients by Cronbach's alpha ranged between (0.57 -0.85). As this study has provided important implications for the Internal Consistency Validity by studying the inter-linkages (or internal) between the degree of each item and the dimension which it belongs. Therefore, the researcher proposes to use the scale in the process of teaching the courses of statistics during determining the attitudes of students before embarking in the teaching process, in order to develop strategies to overcome the negative attitudes towards statistics in students and to develop methods and methods of teaching to overcome the problems which related to the nature of the census, And to overcome the difficulties which face students.

هدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرف الخصائص السيكومترية لمقياس الاتجاهات نحو الإحصاء، ويرمز له (36-SATS)، وهو يتألف من (36) بندا تقيس اتجاهات الطلبة نحو مقرر الإحصاء. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم تطبيق المقياس على عينة مكونة من (253) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الدراسات العليا في كلية التربية في جامعة البعث، واستخدمت طرائق متعددة في دراسة صدق المقياس وثباته. وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث معاملات ثبات عالية للمقياس، حيث تراوحت معاملات الثبات بالإعادة بين (0.89 – 0.94)، ومعاملات الثبات بطريقة ألفا كرونباخ بين (0.57 – 0.85)، كما وفرت هذه الدراسة دلالات هامة للصدق البنائي عن طريق دراسة الارتباطات البينية (أو الداخلية) بين درجة كل بند والبعد الذي ينتمي إليه. وعليه يقترح الباحث الاستفادة من المقياس في عملية تعليم مقررات الإحصاء من خلال تحديد اتجاهات الطلاب قبل الشروع في عملية التدريس، من أجل تطوير استراتيجيات للتغلب على الاتجاهات السلبية نحو الإحصاء عند الطلبة، وتطوير أساليب وطرائق التدريس للتغلب على المشكلات المتعلقة بطبيعة مقرر الإحصاء، وتذليل الصعوبات التي تواجه الطلبة.
