| 520 | |b In this paper the nonparametric kernel estimators Nadaraya-Watson (fixed kernel, variable kernel and adaptive Nadaraya-Watson kernel) is compared with the modified Nadaraya-Watson kernel, which depend on the third quartile. A simulation study is conducted using two regression models; Gaussian and uniform kernel function and different sample sizes. To evaluate these estimators the root mean square error is used. The results of the simulation study show that the modified Nadaraya-Watson kernel estimators, which depend on the third quartile, have better performance than other kernel estimations. | ||
