المستخلص: The research deals with the problems facing the Faculty of Medicine at the Damascus University, in the ability to learn Arabic language, leading to the alienation of this important segment of the mother tongue, which reflects negatively on the proper expression in the written and spoken side of the language. The research dealt with the theoretical aspect to: 1. General problems related to the abandonment of the Arabic language of its own children, such as: non-use in international forums, and in daily life, which negatively affects the learning in all areas of life and disciplines. 2. Problems related to the lack of writing books, and the preparation of appropriate curricula, which stem from the needs of learners and their purposes of learning the language, and take into account their objectives of study. 3. Problems related to the teacher of the Arabic language and its performance, and the methods used in education. While the procedural side addressed: The research tool represented by the questionnaire and the stages of preparation, presented to the arbitrators, then distributed to the survey sample and the total sample, to return the questionnaires, processed statistically, draw conclusions, and then make recommendations and proposals.

يسلط البحث الضوء على مشكلات تعليم النحو لطلاب كلية الطب البشري في جامعة دمشق، والتي تؤدي إلى نفور هذه الشريحة المهمة من لغتها الأم؛ مما ينعكس سلبا على التعبير السليم في الجانب المكتوب والمنطوق من اللغة. تطرق البحث في الجانب النظري إلى: 1. مشكلات عامة تتعلق بهجر اللغة العربية من أبنائها أنفسهم مثل: عدم استعمالها في المحافل الدولية، وفي الحياة اليومية مما ينعكس سلبا على تعلمها في كل مجالات الحياة والتخصصات الدراسية. 2. مشكلات تتعلق بقصور تأليف الكتب، وإعداد المناهج الملائمة، التي تنطلق من حاجات المتعلمين وأغراضهم من تعلم اللغة، وتراعي أهدافهم من دراستها. 3. مشكلات تتعلق بمعلم اللغة العربية وأدائه، والطرائق التي يتبعها في التعليم. بينما عالج الجانب الإجرائي: أداة البحث متمثلة بالاستبانة ومراحل إعدادها، وعرضها على المحكمين، ثم توزيعها على العينة الاستطلاعية والعينة الكلية، وصولا إلى عودة الاستبانات، ومعالجتها إحصائيا، واستخلاص النتائج، ثم تقديم التوصيات والمقترحات.
