المستخلص: The aim of the research was to find out the effectiveness of designing an educational simulation program in acquiring the skills of using web 2.0 tools among the female students at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University. The sample of the study was a random sample of female students in second level (special education) at the Faculty of Education, the Department of Educational Technology at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University, consisted of 44 female students divided into two groups, in teaching of this group educational simulation program was used and the other was control group which was taught in the usual way. Every group consisted of 22 students. The study used the semi-experimental approach. The study tools consisted of the achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect of the skills of using some web 2.0 tools and the observation card to measure the practical aspect of the skills of using some web 2.0 tools. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of the use of electronic educational simulation in providing students with the skills to use some web tools as compared to the traditional methods. In light of this, the researcher presented a set of appropriate recommendations and proposals.
