|b This study aims at investigating motivation techniques in learning English in school .The second aim is to show the importance of these techniques in classrooms and which techniques are highly used by primary and secondary English teachers. It is hypothesized that there is a significant differences among teachers use in motivation techniques and the second hypothesis is that teachers of primary schools use motivation techniques more than secondary school teachers. This study is limited to the techniques used by English teachers to motivate students in Tikrit schools. Finally the findings of the study revealed that teaching English by using motivation techniques is really essential matter, and teachers in primary schools use techniques to motivate their students more than in secondary schools.
