استهدف البحث بصفة رئيسية تحديد طبيعة العلاقة بين إدمان تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال والمشكلات السلوكية لدى عينة من طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي، وتتحدد مشكلة البحث في الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين إدمان تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال والمشكلات السلوكية لدى عينة من طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي، تكونت عينة البحث من (200) من طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي من مستويات اقتصادية واجتماعية مختلفة، تم تجميع العينة من محافظة الغربية بطريقة صدفية غرضية، تم التطبيق الميداني خلال شهر نوفمبر 2017م، وتكونت أداة البحث من: استمارة البيانات العامة لطلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي، استبيان إدمان تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال، استبيان المشكلات السلوكية لطلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي (وجميعها من إعداد الباحثتين). وكانت أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث: وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين إدمان تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال لدى طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي ببعديه ومشكلاتهم السلوكية بأبعادها، وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين إدمان تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال لدى طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي ببعديه ومشكلاتهم السلوكية بأبعادها وبعض متغيرات المستوى الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والثقافي (عدد الأخوة – دخل الأسرة – تعليم الأب والأم)، وجود فروق دالة احصائياً بين متوسطات طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي عينة البحث في إدمان تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال ومشكلاتهم السلوكية تبعاً "الجنس "ذكور –إناث" لصالح الذكور، عمل الأم "لصالح أبناء الأمهات العاملات، وجود تباين دال احصائياً في إدمان تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال لدى طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي ببعديه ومشكلاتهم السلوكية بأبعادها تبعاً (لوقت بداية الاستخدام لصالح المستوى المرتفع (أكثر من 5 سنوات) – ترتيب الطالب بين إخوته – لصالح الطفل الثالث).
