المستخلص: يسير هذا البحث الذي وفق المنهج التحليلي الوصفي الإحصائي، ويحاول الإجابة على عدد من التساؤلات، منها: ما واقع التعليم العربي في المدارس الكاميرونية؟ وما مستقبله؟ وما التحديات التي تواجهه؟ والدارسة تهدف إلى تسليط الأضواء على واقع التعليم العربي في المؤسسات التعليمية الابتدائية والثانوية في الكاميرون من خلال تحليل إحصائيات للتعليم العربي الرسمي من خلال كشوفات التسجيل ونتائج الامتحانات، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج منها: أن عدد المدارس الابتدائية كلها أهلية، ويصل عددها حتى عام 2017- 2018 إلى: 315 مدرسة، يدرس فيها 1866 مدرسا، وتضم 54672 تلميذا، وأما المدارس الثانوية فتضم مدارس أهلية وأخرى حكومية، وقد وصلت في العام الدراسي 2017 - 2018 إلى 175 مدرسة ثانوية أهلية، يُدرّس فيها 1000 مدرسا، بينما يدرس فيها 12300
ويواجه هذا التعليم عدة صعوبات منها النقص الحاد في المدرسين المؤهلين، وعدم وجود كتاب يلبي احتياجاتهم ويتناسب مع بيئتهم.

Cet article intitulé : « L’enseignement de la langue arabe dans les établissements d'enseignement moderne cas des écoles primaire et secondaire au Cameroun » se propose d’étudier la situation de cette langue au Cameroun. Il utilise la méthodologie d’analyse descriptive appuyant sur les données statistiques afin de répondre à un certain nombre de questions, notamment : Quelle est la réalité de l’enseignement arabe dans les écoles camerounaises ? Quel sera son avenir ? Quels sont ses défis à relever ? L’étude vise à faire la lumière sur la réalité de l’enseignement arabe dans les établissements primaires et secondaires au Cameroun. Ses conclusions montrentque, en 2018, le nombre d’écoles primaires s’élève à 315 écoles avec 1866 enseignants et 54 672 élèves quant aux établissementssecondaires publiques et privées, ils sont à l’ordre de175avec un effectif près de12300 apprenants encadrés par plus de 1000enseignants. Cette enseignement se heurte à plusieurs difficultés, notamment la grave pénurie d’enseignants qualifiés, l’absence d’un livre répondant à leurs besoins et adapté à leur environnement.

This research follows the analytical and descriptive statistical approach and tries to answer a number of questions, including the following: What is the reality of Arab education in Cameroonian schools? What is its future and what are the challenges that it faces?
The study aims to shed light on the reality of Arab education in primary and secondary educational institutions in Cameroon by analyzing statistics on official Arab education through registrations records and exam results.
The study reached conclusions, including that all primary schools are private, and as of 2017—2018 they number 315 schools. 1866 teachers teach while the number of students studying in them reaches 54,672 pupils.
Secondary schools include private and government schools. The number of private secondary schools in the academic year 2017-2018 reached 175 schools, where 1,000 teachers teach and 12300 students study.
This education faces several difficulties, including the acute shortage of qualified teachers and the lack of a syllabus that meets their needs and is appropriate to their environment.
