أدت المطالب السياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية المتزايدة في السنوات الأخيرة مع التطور التكنولوجي الحديث جنبا إلى جنب، إلى إحداث تغييرات في نظم تقديم التعليم وسبل الوصول إلى الطلاب. ولذلك برزت فرصة دعم الطلاب بشكل أكثر تخصصا من خلال تقديم المشورة الأكاديمية عن بعد، كما يعتبر تطبيق استخدام خدمات الإرشاد الأكاديمي من خلال الأجهزة الإلكترونية سواء كانت أجهزة كمبيوتر أو أجهزة هواتف ذكية لطلاب الدراسات العليا داخل أقسام المكتبات والمعلومات حلقة مهمة في سلسلة التطور التكنولوجي الذي يشهده عصرنا الحالي. ومن أجل توفير خدمات الإرشاد الأكاديمي في أي وقت ومن أي مكان باستخدام هذه الوسائل التكنولوجية الحديثة، يسعى الإرشاد الأكاديمي عن بعد من خلال هذه الوسائل التكنولوجية الحديثة إلى تقديم خدمات إرشادية لطلاب الدراسات العليا بأقسام المكتبات والمعلومات بالجامعات المصرية، وذلك من أجل تطوير شخصياتهم أكاديميا واجتماعيا وتنمية مهاراتهم في المجالات المختلفة بما يتفق ومعايير الجودة العالمية، إذ يعتبر الإرشاد الأكاديمي عنصرا أساسيا في تجربة الطالب الجامعية، كما يعتبر تقديم المشورة الأكاديمية إحدى الوظائف المؤسسية التي تربط جميع الطلاب بالمؤسسة، أي التي تنمي فيهم الشعور بالانتماء. وتزامنا مع زيادة تعقيد المناهج التعليمية والتوسع في الخيارات التعليمية ازداد الضغط لجعل تلك التجربة الأكاديمية ذات مغزى يمكن تطبيقه للطلاب أينما كانوا. ولأجل ذلك تسعى الدراسة إلى تحقيق مجموعة من الأهداف، هي: التعرف على دور استخدام أجهزة الكمبيوتر في دعم الإرشاد الأكاديمي، والتعرف على دور تطبيقات الهواتف الذكية في دعم الإرشاد الأكاديمي، والتعرف على متطلبات قسم المكتبات والمعلومات بجامعة حلوان لاستخدام هذه الوسائل التكنولوجية الحديثة، والتعرف على المشكلات التي قد تواجه أقسام المكتبات والمعلومات عند استخدام هذه الخدمة الجديدة، وتحديد المتطلبات الفنية والمهنية التي تحتاج إليها أقسام المكتبات والمعلومات من أجل ذلك التغير التكنولوجي. إذن مهمة الإرشاد الأكاديمي هس مساعدة الطلاب لتلبية احتياجاتهم وقدراتهم وأهدافهم وتعريفهم بأهداف الجامعة أو القسم العلمي، وأيضا تعريفهم بماهية البرامج التي يتيحها قسمهم العلمي حتى يستطيع الطالب أن يستفيد من كل ما تتيحه الجامعة على أكمل وجه، وهذا هو النشاط الذي يقوم به المرشدون الأكاديميون بالقسم لتعريف الطلاب بالأنظمة واللوائح الدراسية ومساعدتهم في التقدم الدراسي والتغلب على ما قد يعترضهم من مشكلات وصعوبات اجتماعية أو نفسية أو صحية أو أكاديمية. إذن الإرشاد الأكاديمي عبارة عن مشاركة للمسؤوليات بين الطالب ومرشده الأكاديمي. وقد استخدمت الدراسة منهج دراسة الحالة، وقد تم الاعتماد على استطلاع للرأي موجه لطلاب الدراسات العليا بجامعة حلوان؛ وقد استطاعت الدراسة تقديم تصور مقترح لاستخدام تلك الوسائل التكنولوجية الحديثة في تقديم خدمات الإرشاد الأكاديمي عن بعد داخل قسم المكتبات والمعلومات بجامعة حلوان.
The increased political, social and economic demands in the last few year, along with the modem technological development, have led to the occurrence of changes in education provision systems and the ways of reaching students. Therefore, there emerged the opportunity to provide a more specialized support to students through the provision of remote academic guidance. The application of using academic guidance services through electronic devices, whether computers or smartphones, for postgraduate students within the departments of libraries and information is also considered an important link in the series of technological development witnessed by our current era. In order to provide academic guidance services at any time and from anywhere using these modern technological tools, the academic remote guidance aims through these modern technological tools to provide guidance services for postgraduate students in the departments of libraries and information in Egyptian universities, in order to develop their personalities academically, and develop their skills in various areas in accordance with the international quality standards, as academic guidance is considered an essential element of the university student's experience. Providing academic counseling is also considered one of the institutional functions that links all students to the institution, i.e. one that develops in them a sense of belonging. Coinciding with the increase in the complexity of the educational curricula and the expansion of the educational options, the pressure to make that academic experience a meaningful experience that can be applied to students wherever they may be, has also increased. For this purpose, the study aims to fulfill a set of objectives; namely: introducing the role of using computers in supporting academic guidance, introducing the role of smartphone applications in supporting academic guidance, introducing the requirements of the department of libraries and information at Helwan University for using such modern technological tools, identifying problems that the departments of libraries and information may face when using this new service and identifying the technical and professional requirements that the departments of libraries and information need for that technological change. Therefore, the mission of academic guidance is to help students fulfill their needs, abilities and goals, introduce them to the objectives of the university or the department, and also introduce the programs provided by their department so that the student can get the maximum benefit from all what the university provides. This is the activity performed by the academic guides in the department to introduce the students to the educational rules and regulations and to assist them in achieving academic progress and overcoming any social, psychological, health or academic problems and difficulties they may encounter. Therefore. academic guidance is. a shared responsibility between the student and his academic advisor. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach, and depended on a survey directed to postgraduate students at Helwan University. The study was able to present a proposed scenario for using these modern technological tools to provide remote academic guidance services within the departments of libraries and information all over the Arab Republic of Egypt.
