المستخلص: The establishment of the position of the school and vocational guidance counselor in Algeria is among the positive measures introduced in secondary education institutions, instead of authorizing a non-specialized teacher to carry this difficult task.
However, the latter faced multiple obstacles and pressures that prevented him from carrying out his tasks.
The difficulties that prevent the effective exercise of guidance functions are varied. This study, therefore, examined and analyzed technical and professional difficulties, as well as material, administrative and organizational difficulties, not to mention difficulties associated with pupils and their parents.

يعد إحداث منصب مستشار التوجيه المدرسي والمهني في الجزائر من بين الإجراءات الإيجابية التي أدخلت بمؤسسات التعليم الثانوي، بدل انتداب مدرس غير متخصص يقوم بهذه المهمة الصعبة.
إلا أن هذا الأخير واجهته عراقيل وضغوطات متعددة حالت دون أدائه لمهامه.
وتتنوع الصعوبات التي تحول دون الممارسة الفعالة لمهام التوجيه لهذا أتت هذه الدراسة التي تناولت بالدراسة والتحليل الصعوبات التقنية والمهنية، فضلا عن الصعوبات المادية، والإدارية والتنظيمية، ناهيك عن الصعوبات المرتبطة بالتلاميذ وأوليائهم.

Le poste de conseiller d'orientation scolaire est considéré en Algérie comme un des procédures positives intégrées dans les lycées, au lieu de charger un enseignant non spécialisé d’assurer cette tâche.
Mais ce dernier à affronté des obstacles et des différentes pressions qui ont limitées la bonne démarche et l’efficacité dans ce lieux éducatif.
Cet article a jeté la lumière sur ces différentes difficultés qui contraint ses démarches telles que les difficultés techniques, professionnelles. administratives et organisationnels, ainsi que les difficultés liées aux élèves et leurs parents.
