Targeted this research to identify the importance of developing the capabilities of teachers in the application of governance indicators to improve the educational process, as it constitutes a teacher supplier fundamental to supply the community qualified human resources capable of implementing the tasks and activities necessary for the advancement of society, and governance pose an administrative trends of contemporary adopted by States to control all activities the operations carried out by its departments transparency required and objectivity, hence emerged the research problem by referring to the existence of a distinct lack of attention to the development of the skills of teachers and the reflection of this in the application of governance indicators for the advancement of the educational process, and the style of the case study on the practical side adopted to search as it has been collecting data from some Iraqi schools , Statistical software was used (SPSS) in data entry and analyzed, and has most of the research on the importance of developing the skills of teachers to score higher contribution in the application of governance indicators results confirmed, and it recommended that researchers need to hear the experiences of developed countries in this area and take advantage of them to improve the educational process.
