المستخلص: من المعلوم أن ذات الله تعالى تخالف سائر الذوات وأن الله تعالى: "... ليس كمثله شيء... "، وعلى الرغم من وضوح هذه الآية نجد البعض قد جعل ذاته تعالى مماثلة لسائر الذوات وصفاته تشبه ما للمخلوقين من صفات وبهذا فقد اشتمل هذا البحث على موقف القائلين بمماثلة ذاته لسائر الذوات وما المقصود بهذه المماثلة والرد عليهم كذلك اشتمل على وصف المجسمة والمشبهة لذاته تعالى والرد عليهم. فقد ذهب بعض المتكلمين من المعتزلة أصحاب الأحوال، إلى أن ذاته تعالى مماثلة لسائر الذوات في الذاتية والحقيقة؛ لأن المماثلة المنفية في قوله تعالى: "ليس كمثله شيء" هي المماثلة في الصفات المخصوصة اللازمة للنفس دون الذاتية والذاتية عند هؤلاء وصف مشترك بين الواجب والممكن ومورد القسمة مشترك بين أقسامه، وذات الواجب عند هؤلاء تمتاز عن سائر الذوات بمعانٍ زائدة هي أحوال. لم يرض أهل الحق من المتكلمين ما ذهب إليه بعض المعتزلة بأن ذاته تعالى مماثلة لسائر الذوات في الذاتية والحقيقة وقاموا بالرد على هؤلاء بردود عدة منها: أن ذاته تعالى تخالف سائر الذوات في الذاتية والحقيقة والمشاركة في مفهوم الذات، أي ما يقوم بنفسه ويقوم به غيره صادق على الكل، صدق العارض على المعروض، كما أن وجود الواجب ووجود الممكن مع اختلافهما بالحقيقة يشتركان اشتراكًا اسميا في صدق مفهوم الوجود عليهما.
