|b The current study aims at developing visual memory for mentally retarted children who are able to learn through a program of a group of artistic activities , The sample of this study contained a sample of children at the intellectual school in Damietta, which is (8 boys and a girl) at the age of (9-12) years and at the mental age of (4-6) years, which parallelizes the mental ages of the ordinary kindergarten children, the study in general resulted in the effectiveness of the program used in the current study, through the following results : There is a statistically significant difference between mean score grades of the two applications; (the pre one and the post one) on the visual memory measure for mentally retarted children who are able to learnin favor of the post application, There is an effectiveness of artistic activities programin developing visual memory at mentally retarted children who are able to learn.

|a تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى تنمية الذاكرة البصرية لدى الأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم في إطار برنامج لمجموعة من الأنشطة الفنية، حيث اشتملت عينة الدراسة على عينة من أطفال مدرسة التربية الفكرية بمحافظة دمياط قوامها (8) طفل وطفلة في المرحلة العمرية من (9-12) سنة وعمر عقلي من (4-6) سنوات يوازي العمر العقلي لأطفال الروضة العاديين، وتوصلت الدراسة بوجه عام إلى فعالية البرنامج المستخدم في الدراسة الحالية وذلك من خلال النتائج التالية: وجود فرق دال إحصائياً بين متوسطي رتب درجات التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي على مقياس الذاكرة البصرية لدى الأطفال المعاقين عقلياً القابلين للتعلم لصالح التطبيق البعدي، توجد فعالية لبرنامج الأنشطة الفنية في تنمية الذاكرة البصرية لدى الأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم.
