المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى إلقاء الضوء على خدمة الإنترنت ومجالات إفادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة منها ومعرفة العلاقة بين الإنترنت ورأس المال البشري ومدي التكامل والتفاعل المستمر بينهما لتنمية المهارات التقنية والمعرفية للأستاذ الجامعي في الوقت الراهن. وتكمن أهمية الموضوع لأهمية مجاله وتماشيه مع الاتجاهات العالمية الحديثة والتطورات التي يشهدها العالم اليوم والتغير السريع الذي طرأ في كافة المجالات مما جعل الجانب العلمي والبحثي والمعرفي يستجيب لهذا التطور التكنولوجي ويستخدم أحدث الوسائل لتحقيق أهدافه لمواكبة هذا التطور ويعد الإنترنت أهم هذه التطورات والابتكارات وهنا تكمن أهمية توظيف الانترنت لخدمة أعضاء هيئة التدريس أكاديمياً ومهنياً، والتي تُعد الاستفادة منها في الأساس تنمية للموارد البشرية. كما أنها تلقي الضوء على أهمية دور الجامعة في التنمية وكونها مهتمة بالأستاذ الجامعي. وقد جاءت معالجة موضوع الدراسة في إطار مقولات نظرية رأس المال البشري والتي تركز على أهمية العنصر البشري وأهمية الاستثمار فيه خاصة في ظل الثورة المعرفية، والتي أنتجت بيئة تعتبر أن المعلومات والمهارات والتعليم والتدريب سلعًا لها قيمتها. فاستيعاب التكنولوجيا الحديثة والاستفادة من تطبيقاتها والقدرة على العمل بها أدت إلي جعل التعليم والتدريب ضرورة على نحو متزايد في نهج تنمية الموارد البشرية: ومن هنا تم اختيار نظرية رأس المال البشري لتفسير الدور العلمي للإنترنت في تشكيل رأس المال البشري؛ من خلال الانترنت كمتغير مستقل له دوره في تشكيل رأس المال البشري كمتغير تابع.

This research aims to shed light on the Internet service and areas of benefit to the university faculty members, including knowledge of the relationship between the Internet and human capital and the extent of integration and continuous interaction between them to develop the technical and cognitive skills of the university professor at the present time. The importance of the topic lies in the importance of its field and its compatibility with modern global trends and developments in the world today and the rapid change that has occurred in all fields, which made the scientific, research and knowledge side respond to this technological development and uses the latest means to achieve its goals to keep pace with this development and the Internet is the most important of these developments and innovations and here lies the importance of employment of the Internet to serve faculty members academically and professionally, and the benefit from them is considered primarily a development of human resources, it also sheds light on the importance of the university's role in development and its interest in the university professor. The treatment of the subject of the study came within the framework of the categories of human capital theory, which focuses on the importance of the human element and the importance of investment in it, especially in light of the knowledge revolution, which produced an environment that considers information, skills, education and training as commodities of value. The absorption of modern technology and the utilization of its applications and the ability to work with it has made education and training increasingly necessary in the approach to human resource development: Hence the human capital theory was chosen to explain the scientific role of the Internet in shaping human capital; through the Internet as an independent variable that has a role In the formation of human capital as a dependent variable.
