The population of the study consisted of all parents of children in KG2 of pre-school in Amman, Jordan. The study sample included (125) fathers and mothers representing the population. The study adopted the analytical descriptive approach, which relied on questionnaires for data collection. The study yielded several results, including the following: the levels of family quality of life from the point of view of the parents of the sample members were (high); the quality of family social life from the viewpoint of the sample parents was (high); and there is a (positive) statistically significant correlation between the total score of each scale of family quality of life and the Cognitive Development Scale. The study presented several recommendations, including the following: the need to identify a quality that is consistent with the life of every family in Jordanian society and is known by its professional standards; the need to provide more training and educational courses for parents on how to provide children with cognitive development skills; and the need to improve family conditions because they affect the child's psychological and social quality of life.
