المستخلص: This research aimed to determine the degree of availability of main topics indicators for content domains which included in science learning assessment frameworks for the project of trends in international mathematics and science study (TIMSS 2019) in the science books content in the first grade of basic education in Oman Sultanate and the classroom. To achieve this aim, a content analysis card was prepared in the light of the content domains, main topics, criteria and indicators which included in the frameworks of science learning assessment for the project of studying international trends in mathematics and science (TIMSS 2019), in the light of which the content of the student’s book, activity book, and teacher’s guide were analyzed in the first and second semesters for classes from one to four The descriptive Curriculum was used to analyze and describe what the extent to which the content of science books in the first grade of basic education in Sultanate of Oman take care the content domains, major topics and indicators which included in the frameworks of science learning assessment for the International Trends in Mathematics and Science Project (TIMSS 2019). The research recommends in the light of its findings with reconsidering the content of science books in the first degree of basic education in Sultanate of Oman, and including it with educational experiences to the extent that achieves the percentages indicated in the frameworks of science learning assessment for the project (TIMSS 2019) along with achieving educational and societal goals Others serve the Omani society and its future aspirations, in addition to training science teachers in the first degree of basic education in Sultanate of Oman to employ the calendar included in the study of international trends in mathematics and science (TIMSS 2019) during teaching, and training students on this method of evaluation; In order to upgrade their performance when they participate in the TIMSS project tests, and then to raise the ranking of the Sultanate of Oman among the countries participating in the TIMSS project.

استهدف البحث تحديد درجة توافر مؤشرات الموضوعات الرئيسة لمجالات المحتوى المتضمنة في أطر تقييم تعلم العلوم لمشروع دراسة الاتجاهات الدولية في الرياضيات والعلوم (TIMSS 2019) في محتوى كتب العلوم بالحلقة الأولى من التعليم الأساسي بسلطنة عمان، والصف الدراسي، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم إعداد بطاقة تحليل محتوى في ضوء مجالات المحتوى والموضوعات الرئيسة والمعايير والمؤشرات المتضمنة في أطر تقييم تعلم العلوم لمشروع دراسة الاتجاهات الدولية في الرياضيات والعلوم (TIMSS 2019)، والتي في ضوئها تم تحليل محتوى كتاب الطالب وكتاب النشاط ودليل المعلم في الفصليين الدراسيين الأول والثاني للصفوف من الأول وحتى الرابع، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي في تحليل ووصف مدى مراعاة محتوى كتب العلوم بالحلقة الأولى من التعليم الأساسي بسلطنة عمان لمجالات المحتوى والموضوعات الرئيسة والمؤشرات المتضمنة في أطر تقييم تعلم العلوم لمشروع دراسة الاتجاهات الدولية في الرياضيات والعلوم (TIMSS 2019). ويوصي البحث في ضوء ما توصل إليه من نتائج بإعادة النظر في محتوي كتب العلوم بالحلقة الأولي من التعليم الأساسي بسلطنة عمان، وتضمينه بخبرات تعليمية بالقدر الذي يحقق النسب المشار إليها في أطر تقييم تعلم العلوم لمشروع (TIMSS 2019) جنبا إلى جنب مع تحقيق أهداف تعليمية ومجتمعية أخري تخدم المجتمع العماني وطموحاته المستقبلية بالإضافة إلى تدريب معلمي العلوم بالحلقة الأولي من التعليم الأساسي بسلطنة عمان على توظيف التقويم المتضمن في دراسة الاتجاهات الدولية في الرياضيات والعلوم (TIMSS 2019) أثناء التدريس، وتدريب الطلبة على هذا الأسلوب من التقويم؛ بغية الارتقاء بمستوي أدائهم عند مشاركتهم في اختبارات مشروع (TIMSS) ومن ثم الارتقاء بترتيب سلطنة عمان بين الدول المشاركة في مشروع (TIMSS).
