المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى التلكؤ الأكاديمي لدى عينة من طلاب كلية التربية، والتعرف على طبيعة العلاقة الارتباطية بين التلكؤ الأكاديمي ويقظة الضمير كأحد العوامل الخمسة الكبرى للشخصية لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة، وتحديد الفروق بين الذكور والإناث، والفروق بين طلاب الفرقة الثانية وطلاب الفرقة الثالثة، والفروق بين طلاب التخصص الأدبي وطلاب التخصص العلمي في التلكؤ الأكاديمي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (437) طالبا وطالبة، تراوحت أعمارهم من (19- 23) عاما، بمتوسط عمري قدره (19.9)، وانحراف معياري قدره (0.8)، واستخدمت الباحثة في الدراسة مقياس التلكؤ الأكاديمي (إعداد/ الباحثة)، وقائمة العوامل الخمسة الكبرى للشخصية (إعداد/كوستا وماكري، 1992، ترجمة/ بدر الأنصاري، 1997) ليقظة الضمير، وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن ارتفاع مستوى التلكؤ الأكاديمي لدى طلاب كلية التربية، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائيا بين درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس التلكؤ الأكاديمي ودرجاتهم على عامل يقظة الضمير، وتوجد فروق دالة إحصائيا على مقياس التلكؤ الأكاديمي بين الذكور والإناث في جانب الذكور، وبين طلاب الفرقة الثانية وطلاب الفرقة الثالثة في جانب طلاب الفرقة الثانية، وبين طلاب التخصص الأدبي وطلاب التخصص العلمي في جانب طلاب التخصص الأدبي.

The aim of this study was to identify the level of academic procrastination in a sample of students of the Faculty of Education and to identify the nature of the correlation between academic procrastination and conscientiousness as a factor of the five major factors of the personality of the sample of the study, and determine the differences between males and females and differences between students of the second and third division students, the differences between students of literary specialization and students of scientific specialization in academic procrastination ,and be the study sample of (437) students, ranged in age from 19-23 with an average age of (19.9) and a standard deviation of (0.8), The researcher used in the study the measure of academic procrastination (preparation/ the researcher) and the list of the five major factors (preparation/ Costa & McCrae 1992, trans./ Badr Al- Ansari 1997 ) to conscientiousness, The results of the study revealed the high level of academic procrastination in the students of the Faculty of Education, The existence of a negative correlation between the scores of the sample members on the academic procrastination scale is statistically significant and their mean scores on the conscientiousness factor, and there are significant differences on the measure of academic procrastination between males and females for the benefit of males, and students of the second and third students for the second year students, and between students of literary specialization and students of scientific specialization for the benefit of students of literary specialization.
