تتمثل مشكلة الدراسة في التساؤل الرئيسي المتمثل في تحديد مدى تطبيق ممارسات إدارة الجودة الشاملة في مستشفيات منطقة الرياض، وتهدف الدراسة إلى الكشف عن أهم العوامل التي تفعل دور الجودة الشاملة لمستشفيات منطقة الرياض بالإشراف الفعال وتوجيه الأداء، وتنبع أهمية الدراسة من عدم وجود إجراءات محددة، وعدم تحديد معايير للجودة الشاملة وكذلك لإدارتها والرقابة عليها في المنشآت الصحية التي تعتمد على درجة معقدة من العمليات العلاجية والتأهيلية والوقائية والتي ينتج عنها منافع عامة تعود على المجتمع اقتصاديا واجتماعيا. وقد توصلت إلى وجود اختلافات ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجات التزام وحرص إدارة المنشآت الصحية في تطبيق مبادئ إدارة الجودة الشاملة عبر المستشفيات الحكومية بمنطقة الرياض، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مستوى تطبيق الجودة الشاملة في المنشآت المختلفة بناء على حجم وتخصص ونوع المنشآت الصحية بمنطقة الرياض بالإضافة إلى وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين برامج التدريب المقدمة في للعاملين بالمنشآت الصحية والتحسين المستمر في تطبيق الجودة الشاملة بالمنشآت الصحية بمنطقة الرياض. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة التركيز على الدراسات التي تهتم بقياس آثار تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة لما له من تأثير إيجابي على تحسين أداء الخدمات المقدمة من المنشآت الصحية ووضع مستوى الجودة المناسب للخدمة وبما يحقق الاستخدام الأمثل للموارد وبما يعود بالمنفعة على كل من المرضى والدولة بشكل عام بالإضافة إلى إنشاء جوائز وطنية لجودة الخدمات الصحية تمنح للمنظمات والمراكز الصحية المتميزة بناء على معايير الاعتماد المصدرة من وزارة الصحة في المملكة العربية السعودية.
Study problem is the main question of determining the application of TQM practices in Riyadh hospitals. The study aims to uncover the most important factors that play the role of the overall quality of Riyadh hospitals by effective supervision and performance guidance. The study stems from the absence of specific procedures, And the failure to set standards for total quality as well as for management and control in health facilities that rely on a complex degree of remedial and rehabilitation and preventive processes, which result in public benefits to the community economically and socially. It was found that there are statistically significant differences between the degree of commitment and keenness of the management of health establishments in the application of the principles of TQM through government hospitals in Riyadh, and there are differences of statistical significance between the levels of application of TQM in different establishments based on size, Health Establishments in Riyadh Region. In addition to a statistically significant relationship between the training programs provided to the employees in the health facilities and the continuous improvement in the application of the total quality in the health facilities in Riyadh. The study recommended the need to focus on the studies that are concerned with measuring the effects of the application of TQM because it has a positive impact on improving the performance of the services provided by the health facilities and setting the appropriate level of quality for the service and in order to achieve the optimal use of resources and benefiting the patients and the state In addition to the establishment of national awards for the quality of health services granted to organizations and centers of excellence based on the accreditation standards issued by the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
