المستخلص: The present research aimed at developing classroom management skills in English for English language student teachers through a suggested frame work based on asking thinking doing evaluating (ATDE) model. So, a group of 24 student teachers were randomly selected from fourth year EFL student teachers (General Section), Faculty of Education, Helwan University and assigned as one treatment group. The classroom management skills needed for the fourth year EFL student teachers were determined through the use of a classroom management skills checklist confirmed by a jury of specialists in teaching English. Based on these skills, a cognitive test and a scoring rubric were developed and used as pre and post assessment instruments. The suggested frame work was designed by the researcher to develop the treatment group classroom management skills. The research provided support for the hypotheses. The research showed evidence that the suggested frame work was effective in developing EFL student teachers` classroom management skills .It was recommended that inclusion of classroom management skills’ scoring rubric should be within EFL student teachers` practicum evaluation instruments.
