المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين الحاجة إلى المعرفة والحل الإبداعي للمشكلات لدى طلبة كلية الهندسة، وتكونت عينة البحث من (225) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة كلية الهندسة الفرقة الأولى، والثانية، والثالثة، والرابعة (بعد السنة الإعدادية)، وتراوحت أعمارهم الزمنية ما بين (20- 24) للعام الدراسي 2020/ 2021 م، واشتملت أدوات البحث على مقياس الحاجة إلى المعرفة (إعداد الباحث)، ومقياس الحل الإبداعي للمشكلات (إعداد Triffnjer, 2000 ترجمة رشا المدبولي)، وكشفت نتائج البحث عن عدم وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين الدرجات التي حصل عليها أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس الحاجة إلى المعرفة (بعد العمق المعرفي، بعد الثقة المعرفية، التعقيد المعرفي والدرجة الكلية لهذه الأبعاد الثلاثة)، ودرجاتهم على مقياس الحل الإبداعي للمشكلات، ما عدا البعد الرابع وهو المثابرة المعرفية حيث توجد علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.05 بين درجات أفراد عينة البحث على هذا البعد ودرجاتهم على مقياس الحل الإبداعي للمشكلات، ويمكن بهذه النتيجة قبول هذا الفرض جزئيا.

The current research aims to reveal the relationship between the need for knowledge and creative problem solving among students of the College of Engineering, The research Sample included (225) Students of the College of Engineering from the first, the second, the third and the fourth year aged Between (20-24) for the academic year 2020/ 2021, the research tools included the scale of need for knowledge (Researcher Preparation) and the scale of creative problem solving (Triffnjer Preparation, Rsha El madbouly Translation) and the results of the research revealed the absence of a statistically significant correlation between the scores obtained by the research sample members on the scale The need for knowledge, and creative problem solving, and the results of the research revealed that there is no statistically significant correlation between the scores obtained by the research sample members on the scale of the need for knowledge (the dimension of knowledge depth, the dimension of cognitive confidence, the cognitive complexity and the total degree of these three dimensions), And their scores on the scale of creative problem solving, except for the fourth dimension, which is cognitive perseverance. As From the scale of need for knowledge, there is a positive, statistically significant correlation at the 0.05 level between the scores of the research sample members on this dimension and their scores on the scale of creative problem solving, and with this result, this hypothesis can be partially accepted.
