المستخلص: This research aims to prepare a translator with the necessary professional competence, based on the exercise mechanism adopted by a number of senior researchers and theorists in the field of translation, and practical training mechanisms applied in the French Language Department at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, King Saud University. Based on scientific studies in the field of translation education, we draw the theoretical and applied framework to be available when training and preparing a professional translator. Our research tools are a conscious view of the scientific reality of the translation profession. There is no change without long reflection and no competition without training and qualification. Therefore, this study focuses on three main themes: the first axis includes a brief analytical study on the most important theories and modern trends in applied translation science. The second axis emphasizes the importance of defining the goal of the academic program to teach translation through our handling of professional translation and educational translation. Finally, within the third axis of this study, we find the practical/vocational training program or what we can call an applied academic scientific framework for training and preparation of the trainee translator, which consists of the exercise mechanism and the graduation project with its two parts: translating part of a book and external training. يهدف هذا البحث إلى غاية مؤداها إعداد مترجم يتمتع بالكفاءة اللازمة مهنيا، متكئا في ذلك على آلية التمارين التي اعتمدها عدد من كبار الباحثين والمنظرين في مجال الترجمة، وآليات التدريب العملي المطبقة في قسم اللغة الفرنسية بكلية اللغات والترجمة بجامعة الملك سعود. وانطلاقا من الدراسات العلمية في مجال تعليم الترجمة نرسم الإطار النظري والتطبيقي الواجب توافره عند تدريب وإعداد المترجم المهني المحترف. وتتمثل أدواتنا البحثية في إطلالة واعية على الواقع العلمي لمهنة الترجمة فلا تغيير بلا تأمل طويل، ولا منافسة بلا تدريب وتأهيل. لذا ترتكز هذه الدراسة على ثلاثة محاور رئيسة: المحور الأول يتضمن دراسة تحليلية مختصرة حول أهم النظريات والاتجاهات الحديثة في علم الترجمة التطبيقية. المحور الثاني يؤكد على أهمية تحديد الهدف من البرنامج الأكاديمي لتدريس الترجمة من خلال تناولنا للترجمة المهنية والترجمة التعليمية. وأخيرا، نجد ضمن المحور الثالث لهذه الدراسة البرنامج التدريبي العملي/المهني أو ما يمكننا تسميته بالإطار العلمي الأكاديمي التطبيقي لتدريب وإعداد الطالب المترجم المتدرب، والذي يتمثل في آلية التمارين ومشروع التخرج بشقيه: ترجمة جزء من كتاب والتدريب الخارجي.

Cette recherche vise l’élaboration et la mise en oeuvre d’un cadre compétitif d’apprentissage/formation en traduction, susceptible de doter les apprentis-traducteurs des compétences professionnelles nécessaires et requisses actuellement par le marché de l’emploi dans le Royaume. Nos outils méthodologiques s’appuient sur les procédés pédagogiques et traductologiques conçus à cette fin par nombre de chercheurs et théoriciens éminents en traductologie, ainsi que sur le processus de formation académique et professionnelle appliqué au Département de la Langue Française et de la Traduction de la Faculté des Langues et de la Traduction à l’Université du Roi Saoud (FLT-URS). Notre méthodologie analytique et descriptive retrace les grandes lignes des théories de la traduction et dessine les cadres théorique et pratique indispensables à tout processus d’apprentissage/formation d’apprentis-traducteurs. Pour ce faire, cette étude est basée sur trois axes principaux: le premier axe porte sur une relecture analytique consciencieuse des théories et courants traductologiques modernes. Afin d’adopter une stratégie pertinente d’apprentissage/formation en traduction, le deuxième axe met l’accent sur l’importance de la définition de l'objectif pédagogique du curriculum, et ce à la lumière des notions de la traduction professionnelle et de la traduction pédagogique. Enfin, le troisième axe traite les mécanismes de formation mis en vigueur actuellement au sein du département, à savoir: les exercises de traduction et le projet de fin d'études, avec ses deux sous-modules: la traduction d'une partie d'un livre et le stage externe ou stage en milieu professionnel.
