The research aim to the Constructing a linguistic content awareness test and identifying the level of linguistic content awareness among primary school students in the east side of Mosul city and for grades (fourth - fifth - sixth). and the academic grade variable (fourth - fifth - sixth) and to achieve the objectives of the research was applied to a sample whose size was (240) students and the test consisted of (51) items and their weights (1, zero). The two researchers extracted psychometric properties such as virtual and structural honesty and stability by repetition, and the reliability coefficient reached (0,85), the discriminatory strength, and the coefficients of ease and difficulty: 1-Primary school students have a good ability to perceive linguistic contents. 2-There are a significant different in favor of male of the Perception of linguistic contents. 3-There are a significant different in favor of primary sixth stage in the ability of Perception of linguistic contents. In light of these results, a set of recommendations and suggestions were developed, including: 1-For those who develop the primary stage approach Paying attention to the implicit aspect of language, as it is no less important than the explicit aspect, by strengthening concepts and meanings, linking the image and its linguistic contents and examples in learning, and paying attention to modern stimuli and stories. Suggestions 1-Conducting a pilot study according to an educational program based on developing the linguistic content awareness of female students in primary schools.
