المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي التعرف على التسويف الأكاديمي لدى طلبة الجامعة، وقد اقتصر البحث الحالي على طلبة جامعة القادسية للعام الدراسي (2021- 2022)، وتم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي لتحقيق أهداف البحث، وقد بلغ حجم العينة (600) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة جامعة القادسية للمراحل الثالثة والرابعة وبواقع (300) طالبا و(300) طالبة وللتخصصات العلمية والإنسانية تم اختيارهم بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث أعدت الباحثة أداة مقياس التسويف الأكاديمي الذي تألف بصورته النهائية من (33) فقرة، وقد تم التحقق من الصدق الظاهري وصدق البناء لفقرات المقياس، وكذلك تم حساب القوة التمييزية لفقراته، وكذلك تم حساب قيمة معامل الثبات باستخدام معامل ألفا كرونباخ الذي بلغ (0.92) والثبات بطريقة إعادة القياس وبلغ (0.84)، وقد طبقت أداتا البحث على عينة البحث النهائية في الفصل الثاني للعام (2021- 2022)، وأجرى التحليل الإحصائي للبيانات ومعالجتها بالاستعانة ببرنامج (Microsoft Excel) وبرنامج الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS)، وتم التوصل إلى النتائج التالية: 1- امتلاك الطلبة لمستوى متدني من التسويف الأكاديمي. 2- لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية وفق متغير النوع الجنس (علمي، إنساني) في التسويف الأكاديمي وتوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية وفق متغير التخصص (علمي، إنساني) ولصالح التخصص العلمي. وبالاعتماد على النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها، تقدمت الباحثة بجملة من التوصيات.

The aim of the current research is to identify the academic procrastination among university students. The current research was limited to the students of Qadisiyah University for the academic year (2021- 2022), and the descriptive approach was adopted to achieve the objectives of the research, and the sample size was (600) male and female students from the University of Qadisiyah For the third and fourth stages, with a total of (300) male and (300) female students, and for scientific and humanitarian specializations, they were selected by stratified random method. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher prepared the academic procrastination scale tool, which: In its final form, it consisted of (33) items. The apparent validity and construct validity of the scale items were verified, as well as the discriminatory power of its items was calculated. Also, the value of the reliability coefficient was calculated using theFacronbach coefficient, which amounted to (0.92) and the stability by re-measurement method, which amounted to ( 0.84), and the two research tools were applied to the final research sample in the current semester (2021-2022), and statistical analysis and processing of the data was carried out using Microsoft Excel and the Statistical Portfolio for Social Sciences (SPSS) program, and the following results were reached: 1) Possession of Students have a low level of academic procrastination. 2) There are no statistically significant differences according to the gender variable (scientific, human) in academic procrastination, and there are statistically significant differences according to the specialization variable (scientific, human) and in favor of the scientific specialization. Relying on the results that were reached, the researcher made a number of recommendations.
