| 520 | |b The "quality approach", a process that has become famous in business management, is a set of decisions and practices whose purpose is to set up a management system. Quality (QMS), which is declined in a specific internal organization which has for but "to assure" the quality of the products and the services. Interest in studying the impact of the quality approach on the performance of small and medium sized companies is not only relatively recent, but is manifested mainly in developed countries. Hence the interest in understanding this issue in a developing country, in this case, Morocco. To do this, an empirical study was carried out on a sample of 125 Moroccan small and medium sized companies. The analysis of the results obtained in relation to the literature on the subject made it possible to identify points of convergence and divergence, thus confirming the specificity of SMEs. |d La ''démarche qualité'', processus devenu célèbre en gestion d'entreprise, est un ensemble de décisions et de pratiques dont le but est de mettre en place un Système de Management de la Qualité (SMQ), qui se décline en une organisation interne spécifique qui a pour but ''d'assurer'' la qualité des produits et des services. L'intérêt pour l'étude de l'impact de la démarche qualité sur la performance des PME, est non seulement relativement récent, mais se manifeste principalement dans les pays développés. D'où l'intérêt à appréhender cette problématique dans un pays en développement, en l'occurrence, le Maroc. Pour ce faire, nous avons mené une étude relative à cette problématique auprès d'un échantillon de 125 PME marocaines. L'analyse des résultats obtenus par rapport à la littérature en la matière a permis de relever des points de convergence et de divergence confortant, ainsi, la spécificité des PME. | ||
