|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر العروض التقديمية التي يقدمها الطلاب عن الأفكار العلمية وتطبيقاتها في مقرراتهم خلال عرضهم لها في معرض للرياضيات على تنمية مهارات التواصل والثقة بالنفس ومهارات التفكير النقدي وفهم المادة العلمية، وذلك من خلال دراسة وجهة نظر الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس. اتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لمناسبته لأهداف الدراسة وأقسامها. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وتم الاعتماد على المقابلة والاستبيان كأداتين لجمع البيانات، حيث تم إجراء المقابلة مع الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، أما الاستبيان فقد تم توزيعه على الطلاب فقط بحيث شملت العينة ٥٣ طالبا وطالبة تم اختيارها بشكل عشوائي من شعبة أسس رياضيات وشعبة جبر مجرد المشاركتين بنفس معرض الرياضيات. وكانت أكبر نسبة من الطلبة الذين في السنة الرابعة (۲۹ طالب)، تليها السنة الثالثة (١٤ طالب) والسنة الثانية (١٠ طلاب). كما تم الإعداد لمعرض الرياضيات أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية بين تقديم العروض وتحسن مهارات التواصل والتفكير النقدي وتعميق فهم الطلاب للمادة العلمية. في حين لم تظهر علاقة واضحة بين العروض والثقة بالنفس لدى الطلاب.
|b This study aimed to identify the impact of presentations made by students about scientific ideas and their applications in their courses during their presentation at a mathematics exhibition on developing communication skills, self-confidence, critical thinking skills, and understanding of scientific material by studying the viewpoints of students and faculty members. The research followed the descriptive analytical method as it suits the objectives and sections of the study. The study population consisted of students and faculty members, and the interview and questionnaire were used as tools for data collection. The interview was conducted with students and faculty members, while the questionnaire was distributed to students only. The sample included 53 male and female students who were randomly selected from the Mathematics Foundations Department and the Algebra Department, both of which participated in the same mathematics exhibition. The largest percentage of students were in the fourth year (29 students), followed by the third year (14 students) and the second year (10 students). A mathematics exhibition was also prepared, which revolved around displaying a large part of the mathematics curriculum. The results showed a positive correlation between giving presentations, improving communication and critical thinking skills, and deepening students’ understanding of scientific material. While there was no clear relationship between presentations and self-confidence among students. The study suggested some recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of these offers in the future and to strengthen scientific communication between students and their colleagues, which enhances the university’s role in career preparation.
