هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة في جامعة صنعاء وجامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومساعديهم، إضافة إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين مبادئ إدارة الجودة الشاملة في الجامعتين. وقد تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومساعديهم في جامعة صنعاء وجامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا في الكليات المتماثلة والمتمثلة في: كليات العلوم الطبية، الهندسة، التجارة والاقتصاد، العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية وقد بلغ عددهم "1416"، أما عينة الدراسة فقد تم اختيارها بواسطة طريقة العينة الطبقية العشوائية بواقع "220" مفردة، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وكذلك منهج التحليل المقارن، كما تم جمع البيانات بواسطة استبانة تم إعدادها لقياس أهداف الدراسة واختبار فرضياتها، وقد تكونت من جزأين تضمن الجزء الأول منها البيانات الشخصية والوظيفية، بينما تصمن الجزء الثاني مبادئ إدارة الجودة الشاملة، وقد تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية "spss"، كما تم استخدام الأساليب الإحصائية الوصفية لوصف بيانات الدراسة، وكذلك الأسلوب الإحصائي الاستدلالي لقياس أهداف الدراسة واختبار فرضياتها. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها صعف تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة في جامعة صنعاء، وتطبيقها بمستوى عال في جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا، إضافة إلى وجود علاقات ارتباط إيجابية وذات دلالة إحصائية بين جميع مبادئ إدارة الجودة الشاملة في الجامعتين، وقد قدمت الدراسة العديد من التوصيات في ضوء تلك النتائج.
Application of Total Quality Management in the Yemeni Higher Education This study aimed to investigate the extent of total quality management application at either Sana’a University and University of Science and Technology from the point of view of the faculty members and their assistants. It also aimed to identify the relationship between the principles of TQM in the two universities. The community of this study consisted of all faculty members and their assistants Sana’a University and University of Science and Technology in the following faculties: Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Commerce and Economy, and Faculty of Social Sciences at "1416". However, the study sample was selected by a random stratified method at "220" items. The study depended on the analytical descriptive method and method of comparative analysis. The data was collected through a questionnaire designed and developed to measure the objectives of the study and test of its hypotheses. The questionnaire was consisted of two parts: the first part included the personal and functional data; the second part included the total quality management principles. The data was analyzed by using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences "SPSS". The researcher also used the statistical descriptive methods to describe the data of the study, as well as the statistically significant method to measure the objectives of the study and test its hypotheses. The study has concluded to a set of findings, most importantly, there is a poor application in the total quality management in Sana’a University, while TQM is highly applied in the University of Science And Technology. in addition, there a positive statistically significant correlation among all principles of total quality management in the two universities. The study also presented several recommendations within the findings of the study.
