يهدف البحث الحالي إلى معرفة اثر استخدام التعلم النشط في تحصيل بعض المفاهيم الرياضية لدى تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي في مدرسة نوح التابعة لمديريه تربية محافظة ميسان، ولحل مشكلة الدراسة وتحقيقا لهدفها استخدم الباحث المنهج التجريبي حيث طبق البحث على عينة بلغ حجمها (60) تلميذا من تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي في مدرسة نوح بمحافظة ميسان اختار عشوائيا شعبتين لتمثل شعبة (ب) المجموعة التجريبية بواقع (30) تلميذا والشعبة(ا) لتمثل المجموعة الضابطة بواقع (30) تلميذا، وقد طبقت تجربة البحث بالفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الدراسي(2011-2012), حيث قام الباحث بتصميم أنشطة التعلم وإعداد مصادر التعلم وتهيئة بيئة التعلم النشط، ثم شرع في تدريس المفاهيم الرياضية المحددة في الفصلين الأول و الثاني من كتاب الرياضيات المقرر للصف الخامس الابتدائي باستخدام التعلم النشط, وقد أخضعت عينة البحث لاختبار المفاهيم الرياضية المعد من قبل الباحث وطبق بعد التأكد من صدقه وثباته. ولاختبار صحة فرضية الدراسة عولجت بياناتها إحصائيا باستخدام برنامج الحزم الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية(SPSS) حيث استخدم اختبار (ت)T-TEST في تحليل النتائج، وقد أسفرت نتائج البحث عن الاتي: وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0,05) بين متوسط درجات المجموعة التجريبية (الذين خضعوا للتعلم الشط) ومتوسط درجات المجموعة الضابطة (الذين درسوا بالتعلم المعتاد) في تطبيق الاختبار التحصيلي للمفاهيم الرياضية لدى تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وقد أوصى الباحث بعدد من التوصيات، واقترح إجراء المزيد من الدراسات والبحوث حول أثر استخدام التعلم النشط في تدريس المفاهيم الرياضية وفروع الرياضيات المختلفة والمواد الدراسية الأخرى في صفوف المرحلة الابتدائية والمراحل التعليمية المختلفة. \
