The current study aimed to identify the educational reality of students with disabilities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi regarding the suitability of these schools to receive students with disabilities and integrate them in the basic and secondary stages in both the public and private sectors. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a tool was developed to collect the necessary data for the study. This tool was applied to a random sample of (237) public and private schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, selected from a total of (498) schools. The validity of the study tool was confirmed by relying on the validity by the arbitrators and extracting the correlation coefficients of the paragraphs with the total score, while its stability was verified by extracting the coefficient of the consistency of the internal consistency of the paragraphs, which amounted to (0.86). After extracting the arithmetic means, standard deviations, and percentages of the responses of the study population, and examining the null hypotheses of the study using the statistical program (SPSS), the results showed that there are no differences in developing schools for the disabled due to the type of school, whether governmental or private, primary or secondary. Accordingly, the study presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are the necessity of developing schools and making modifications to them to make the integration process successful to suit different types of disabilities. هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على الواقع التعليمي لطلبة ذوي الإعاقة في إمارة أبو ظبي من حيث مدى ملائمة هذه المدارس لاستقبال الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة ودمجهم في المرحلتين الأساسية والثانوية، في كل من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم بناء أداة لجمع البيانات اللازمة للدراسة. وقد تم تطبيق هذه الأداة على عينة عشوائية بلغت على (237) مدرسة حكومية وخاصة في إمارة أبو ظبي اختيرت من مجموع المدارس والبالغ عددها (498) مدرسة. وقد تم التأكيد من صدق أداة الدراسة بالاعتماد على صدق المحكمين واستخراج معاملات ارتباط الفقرات مع الدرجة الكلية، أما ثباتها فقد تم التحقق منه باستخراج معامل ثبات الاتساق الداخلي للفقرات والذي بلغ (0,86). وبعد استخراج المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية والنسب المئوية لاستجابات مجتمع الدراسة، وفحص الفرضيات الصفرية للدراسة باستخدام البرنامج الإحصائي (SPSS). فقد أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق في تهيئة المدارس للمعاقين تعزي إلى نوع المدرسة سواء كانت حكومية أو خاصة، أساسية أو ثانوية. وبناء على ذلك قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: ضرورة تهيئة المدارس وإجراء التعديلات عليها من أجل إنجاح عملية الدمج حتى تتلائم مع مختلف أنواع الإعاقات.
