المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى تقييم برنامج إعداد معلمات رياض الأطفال بجامعة الملك سعود في ضوء معايير الاعتماد الأكاديمي. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وتناول البحث مفهوم الاعتماد الأكاديمى وأنواعه وآليات الاعتماد الأكاديمى والعلاقة بين الجودة والاعتماد. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من برنامج إعداد طالبات قسم رياض الأطفال بكلية التربية. وتمثلت أدوات البحث في استمارة معايير الاعتماد لبرامج التعليم العالى والاعتماد الأكاديمى. وأسفرت نتائج البحث في ضعف التناسق ما بين هيكلية ومضمون البرنامج وبين أهداف ورسالة ورؤية القسم مما يؤثر سلبا على تحقيق رسالة ورؤية القسم التي تنبع بدورها من رسالة ورؤية الكلية والجامعة ككل. وعدم وجود مهارات أو كفايات محددة إجرائيا يمكن من خلالها تقويم أداء عناصر العملية التعليمية. وتوصل البحث إلى عدم وجود مرونة في توفير مقررات اختيارية للطالبات وعدم وجود توازن بين المواد التربوية والمواد الاكاديمية التخصصية التي تعطى للطالبة لتؤهلها لممارسة التربية العملية. وأوصى البحث بضرورة اعتماد اللائحة المقترحة لبرنامج اعداد طالبات قسم رياض الأطفال في ضوء معايير الاعتماد الأكاديمي كمشروع اللائحة الداخلية لقسم التربية ورياض الأطفال بكلية التربية جامعة الملك سعود. واعتماد معايير مناسبة في انتقاء الطلبة والتحاقهم بكليات التربية من خلال مقابلات شخصية لهم واعتماد معايير الجودة العالمية للحكم على كفاياتهن بعد حصولهن على الدرجة الجامعية.

The objective of the research was to evaluate the program of preparing kindergartens female teachers in King Saud University in light of the academic accreditation criteria. The research used descriptive analytical method. The research dealt with the concept of academic accreditation, its types, academic accreditation mechanisms and the relationship between quality and accreditation. The research group consisted of the program of preparing the female students of the Department of Kindergarten at the Faculty of Education. The research tools were represented in the accreditation criteria form for higher education programs and academic accreditation. The results of the research shows that there was a lack of consistency between the structure and content of the program and the objectives, mission and vision of the department, which negatively affects their achievement , which in turn stems from the mission and vision of the college and the university as a whole. In addition, there was no specific skills or competencies, which can be used to evaluate the performance of the educational process elements. The research found that there is no flexibility in providing optional courses for female students and there is no balance between the educational materials and the specialized academic materials that are given to the student to qualify her to practice practical education. The study recommended the need to adopt the proposed regulations for the program of preparing female students in the kindergarten department in light of the academic accreditation standards such as the draft internal regulations of the Department of Education and Kindergarten at the Faculty of Education, King Saud University. In addition, we should adopt appropriate criteria in selecting students and enrolling them in the faculties of education through personal interviews and the adoption of international quality standards to judge their competencies after obtaining a degree.
