المستخلص: Knowledge has long been the reserved domain of the| formal world. The only place of its acquisition is the official institution. It is clear that knowledge is multidimensional and may come from various sources. Free access in the field of research is a space for the acquisition of necessary knowledge to research and can provide opportunities for the production and dissemination of research. The study concludes to the multiplicity of institutions supporting open; access as a source of knowledge (associations, commercial editors, libraries). The evaluation emphasized that the information resources are based on the indicators of quality as they used to be in usual modes of transmission known in the traditional mode of edition.
