Translation, being a linguistic process, consisting in transmitting a message from one language to another, and from one culture to another, requires a mastery of both languages, as well as in-depth knowledge of both cultures. The translator in his training course, should learn to go through the necessary steps before moving on to translation, namely comprehension, analysis, verification and finally translation. Paraphrasing as an easy method, allowing the translator to master the source text, before transmitting its content to the target reader, should be done in the source language, in order to be able to understand the original text and in order to communicate its message faithfully. This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018 La traduction, étant une opération linguistique, consistant à transmettre un message d’une langue à une autre, et d’une culture à une autre, nécessite une maitrise des deux langues, ainsi qu’une connaissance approfondie des deux cultures. le traducteur dans son cursus d’apprentissage, devrait apprendre à passer par les étapes nécessaires avant de passer à la traduction, à savoir la compréhension, l’analyse, la vérification et enfin la traduction. La paraphrase comme étant une méthode facile, permettant au traducteur de maitriser le texte source, avant de transmettre son contenu au lecteur cible, devrait s’effectuer dans la langue de départ, pour pouvoir comprendre le texte original et afin de communiquer son message fidèllement. |
