المستخلص: نحاول في هذه المساهمة تسليط الضوء على المميزات التي تختص بها فئة من الطلبة الجزائريين وبالتحديد طلبة الشعب العلمية الذين يتابعون مسارهم الجامعي باللغة الفرنسية. علما بأن هؤلاء قد زاولوا- دراستهم القبلية باللغة العربية ومن ثم يجدون أنفسهم في الجامعة أمام لغة (الفرنسية) غير غريبة عليهم بالتأكيد-، لكن باعتبارها لغة أجنبية تحمل في طياتها مفاهيم عامة ليس لها ارتباط مباشر بتخصص محدد. السؤال المطروح في هذا السياق هو معرفة ما إذا كان لهؤلاء الطلبة حاجة لنوع معين من الفرنسية أم أنهم بحاجة إلى تدعيم مكتسباتهم القبلية. كيف يمكن إدراج الفرنسية العامة في إطار تكوين متخصص بغرض إنشاء تعليم منسجم؟

In this contribution, we are attempting to shed light on the characteristics of a group of Algerian students, specifically the students of the scientific elements who pursue their university path in the French language. That is whilst acknowledging that those students had pursued their prior studies in the Arabic language and then find themselves in the university in front of a language (French) that is certainly not alien to them, but yet, as a foreign language, carries within it general concepts that are not directly related to a specific specialization. The question that arises in this context is whether these students need a certain type of French or whether they need to consolidate their prior acquisitions? How can general French be included in a specialized training framework for the purpose of creating harmonious education?

Dans cette contribution, nous tenterons de mettre l'accent sur la spécificité qui caractérise une catégorie d'étudiants algériens, en l'occurrence ceux des filières scientifiques dont le cursus universitaire est assuré en langue française. Ces derniers ayant suivi une scolarité essentiellement en langue arabe, ils se retrouvent à l'université face à une langue avec laquelle ils se sont, certes, familiarisés, mais en tant que langue étrangère véhiculant des notions générales n'ayant pas forcément une relation directe avec une spécialité donnée.
La question qui se pose est de savoir si ces étudiants ont réellement besoin d'un type de français bien particulier ou plutôt d'une consolidation de leurs acquis en FLE? Comment faire intervenir le français général dans le cadre d'une formation spécialisée pour construire des apprentissages cohérents?
