Objectives: The study aimed to: - Know the effectiveness of a proposed program based on phonology awareness in the development of some verbal reading skills among students in the preparatory stage. Study Procedures: - Preparation of a list of reading skills required for second grade students. - Preparation of a list of the phonology awareness skills required for second grade students. - Follow-up card to measure pupils' performance of specific skills and correct the reading test. - Loud reading test for 2nd preparatory school students. - The Loud reading test for 2nd preparatory school students has been applied in a tribal manner. - Suggested program based on phonology awareness that includes a proposed reading module has been prepared and taught. - The Loud reading test for 2nd preparatory school students was applied in a later manner. - The tools stated and the use of statistical equivalents were reached and the results of the study were reached and interpreted and recommendations and suggestions. Results of the study: The study reached: - The effectiveness of the Suggested program based on phonology awareness in the development of some of the reading skills of the study (identification - pronunciation - comprehension) in the students of the preparatory stage; where there was a statistical difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of students in the study group in the applications (tribal and (0.9), which is a large rate, and the coefficient of gain was greater than (1.22) for the benefit of the post application, the value determined by (Black).
