هدفت الدراسة إلى تقويم مجلة دراسات تربوية التي تصدرها إدارة البحوث التربوية بالمركز القومي للمناهج والبحث التربوي بخت الرضا. كذلك هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مدى قيام المجلة بدورها في خدمة القضايا التربوية، والعمل على حل المشكلات من خلال البحوث المنشورة. أيضا هدفت الدراسة إلى تقديم توصيات من شأنها العمل على تحسين وتطوير المجلة. لتحقيق هذه الأهداف قام الباحثان بصياغة سبعة أسئلة تسعى الدراسة للإجابة عنها؛ تمثلت الأسئلة في: ما مدى إسهام المجلة في حل المشكلات التربوية السودانية؟، ما مدى التزام المجلة بالمنهجية العلمية السليمة في كتابة ونشر البحوث العلمية؟، ما مدى دقة الطرق الإحصائية المستخدمة للحصول على النتائج؟ وسؤالين عن مدى مناسبة تبويب المجلة وموثوقيتها وانتشارها. استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وكانت الاستبانة هي الأداة التي استخدمت لجمع البيانات. قدمت الاستبانة لعينة قوامها (10) من الباحثين بدرجة أستاذ وأستاذ مشارك وأستاذ مساعد في الجامعات السودانية، تم إعطاء أفراد العينة خمسة أعداد مختلفة من إصدارات مجلة دراسات تربوية، وطلب منهم الاطلاع عليها ثم الإجابة عن أسئلة الاستبانة. وبعد تحليل استجابات أفراد العينة باستخدام برنامج الحزم الإحصائية SPSS، تم الحصول على نتائج أهمها أن المجلة تقوم بخدمة المركز القومي للمناهج والبحث التربوي من خلال تخصصها في نشر البحوث التربوية. وأن المجلة تلتزم المنهجية السليمة لكتابة ونشر البحوث العلمية، مع وجود بعض المناطق التي تحتاج إلى عناية أكثر من قبل عمليات التوثيق، ونشر المجلة على شبكة الإنترنت، ووجود المجلة في المكتبات السودانية. قدمت الدراسة توصيات أهمها ضرورة توضيح معايير وضوابط النشر بصورة أكثر تفصيلاً، ضرورة اللجوء إلى النشر الإلكتروني لتحقيق انتشار أوسع والوصول إلى التصنيف العالمي للمجلات الموثوقة والمرموقة.
This study aimed at evaluating the Journal of Educational Studies issued by the administration of the educational research in The National Center for Curricula and Educational Research at Bakht-er-Ruda- (NCCER). The study also intended at finding out the role played by the journal in serving the educational issues and solving problems through published research, in addition to providing recommendations that could help promote and develop the journal. To achieve these objectives, the two researchers designed seven questions to be answered by the participants some of these questions are: what is the contribution of the journal in solving the Sudanese educational problems? To what extent the journal is committed to the sound and scientific methodology in the writing and dissemination of scientific research? And to what extent it is committed to the accuracy of statistical procedures used in achieving results. Besides two questions about the suitability of the classification, authenticity and the spread of the journal. The researchers used the descriptive analytic method using a questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The questionnaire was presented to a number of 10 researchers in the Sudanese universities providing them with 5 different volumes of the journal to be studied before answering the items of the questionnaire. All of the participants are in the status of professors, associate and assistant professors. The participants' responses were analyzed through using SPSS and revealed significant results some of which are: The journal serves the National Center for Curricula and Educational Research through its specialization in the dissemination of the educational research, it is committed to the sound scientific methodology in writing and publishing the scientific research. However, there are some areas which need more attention such as accreditation, dissemination on the internet, and the availability of the journal in Sudanese libraries. The study recommended the commitment to the standards, rules of publishing, electronic dissemination to achieve wide spread and the international classification of the authentic journals.
