المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة تعرف دور الجامعة في تنمية ثقافة التسامح لدى طلبتها من وجهة نظرهم، وتعرف الفروق بين متوسطات إجابات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على استبانة دور الجامعة في تنمية ثقافة التسامح تعزى للمتغيرات (الجنس، والتخصص الدراسي، والسنة الدراسية)، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (183) طالبا وطالبة من كليات (الاقتصاد، والصيدلة، والتربية، والآداب قسم اللغة العربية) بجامعة حماة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، حيث طبق عليهم استبانة دور الجامعة في تنمية ثقافة التسامح بعد التحقق من صدقهما وثباتهما، كما استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، وأشارت النتائج إلى ما يأتي: 1) بلغ دور الجامعة في تنمية ثقافة التسامح لدى طلبتها من وجهة نظر أفراد عينة الدراسة درجة كبيرة بمتوسط حسابي وقدره (3.9) ونسبة مئوية (78%). 2) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) بين متوسط درجات إجابات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على استبانة دور الجامعة في تنمية ثقافة التسامح تعزى للمتغيرات (الجنس، والتخصص الدراسي). 3) توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) بين متوسط درجات إجابات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على استبانة دور الجامعة في تنمية ثقافة التسامح تعزى لمتغير السنة الدراسية وذلك لصالح طلبة السنة الأخيرة.

The study aimed to define the university’s role in developing a culture of tolerance among its students from their point of view, and to identify the differences between the averages of the students ’answers. Individuals of the study sample on the questionnaire of the university’s role in developing a culture of tolerance due to variables (gender, academic specialization, and academic year). The study sample consisted of (183) Male and female students from college Economics, Pharmacy, Education, and Arts Department of Arabic Language (Department of Arabic Language) at the University of Hama were chosen in a simple random way, where a questionnaire for the university’s role in developing a culture of tolerance was applied to them after verifying their validity and consistency. The researcher also used the descriptive approach, and the results indicated the following: 1) The university’s role in developing a culture of tolerance among its students from the point of view of the study sample reached a large degree with an arithmetic mean of (3.9) and a percentage (78%). 2) There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the students' responses, members of the study sample, on the questionnaire of the university’s role in developing a culture of tolerance due to variables (gender, academic specialization). 3) There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the students ’answers from the members of the study sample on the questionnaire of the university’s role in developing a culture of tolerance due to the academic year variable in favor of the last year students.
