This study aimed at exploring the instructors' attitudes and performance towards using oral corrective feedback (OCF) in EFL classrooms at tertiary level, preparatory year English language at Sattam bin Abdulaziz University; the academic years (2023 2024), also aimed to review the effect of (OCF) usage in different types of language skills and investigate the important role of (OCF) in enhancing students’ linguistic accuracy. The research method adopted was the descriptive analytical qualitative research approach. The tool of the study was an interview to (30) instructors. The findings indicated that English language instructors regarded oral corrective feedback as important thing because it was a source to the identification to the students' mistakes, guidance, correction, improvement of attentions, acquisition, led to interaction with an instructor inside classes and developed language skills. Furthermore, the oral corrective feedback had a positive effect on learners' personality and increased their English language learning proficiency and self- confidence and above all reinforced their oral perceptions about using English language skills because some of English language instructors were aware about using oral corrective feedback different types.
